In Which Hutch Loves Ergonomic Imp Gear

Imps. You see, Lullaby didn't hate them at all but found them some what amusing, especially when fighting over a nice spot to sleep in or a little snack, so when the bun found himself wandering into a large shop by the name "IMPORIUM" filled with all sorts of little critters, he had half a mind to buy one. That was, however until a rather curly little devil stood right in his way, eyeing up the equally fluffy and slightly irritated doll. "And who would you be?" the smaller doll questioned, adjusting the black rimmed glasses on his face. Lullaby scoffed and glowered down at him "Lullaby. How can I get one of these little devils?" he questioned, waving a well-manacured hand to the large array of chirping and squealing imps. The other seemed to roll his eyes at that and shook his head "You can't just get one you know. I'm Hutch, I own the place. If you're fine getting your hands a little dirty and you pass the trial I'll set out for you, then you'll be welcome to buy one." Of course Lullaby couldn't say no to that little challenge, his sleepy eyes seeming to glint in interest. He liked to win- almost more then sleep. "If you insist" Lullaby hummed, smiling and asking the owner- Hutch- to lead the way.

And dirty did Lullaby's hands get. He had been tasked with cleaning out each and every stall and cage that the imps were in- he nearly quit to be quite honest, but each time Lullaby would heave a sigh and quickly gag, two tiny little eyes would meet his, and the doll's heart would melt all over again. Quite the sucker, he is. But, once that was finally done, Lullaby was able to move onto the fun part- sitting in on training lessons with Hutch and even learning how to teach an Imp tricks with one of Hutch's own personal critters, Sesame. Upon being able to teach little Sesame how to 'sit', 'stay', and 'spin' Lullaby was quite eager to adopt his own little ball of void fuzz- but there was one last test that Hutch had seemed to place great importance on, which was how Lullaby found himself sat down in front of a collection of various pet equipment, simply being asked to choose and afit Sesame with his selection.

Now, Lullaby knew this wasn't simple, Hutch had briefly mentioned a few things about proper equipment when training, walking, or even feeding an Imp so the doll took his time. There were three choices, a ruffly and delightful looking little harness with a matching lead and bow, a more functional looking yet still quite cute reflective vest with mesh coverings and a bungee leash, and finally a supple leather harness affited with fleece inside and a long delicate leash. Lullaby wanted the ruffly harness badly, but instead took his time to look into each outfit- the ruffled one being chaffy and uncomfortable despite it's seemingly high quality look, and the mesh being far too flimsy to support an eager and pulling Imp. So, Lullaby settled on the leather piece, allowing Sesame to check out the item before slowly attaching and ensuring the harness properly fit (even if it didn't quite look the best from Lullaby's handy work).

Finally, he was done, nervously looking up to see a beaming Hutch, a rose-gold key with a little imp charm dangling from his fingers.
