[Gift] Back To The Plush

Elio had never pictured himself as much of a fashion lover but Seig had convinced him to go check out Peter’s, owner and designer of Cottontail Couture a new, trendy clothing label, workshop. Seig had been given an open invitation to attend the design studio tour and unfortunately his boyfriend Diesel had been busy at his shop. 

So, he’d turned to Elio. 

Now, Elio was a fan of the designs. He loved the risqué leather designs that Peter had created and owned a few himself - he wasn’t going to lie about that. 

But apart from wearing clothes, Elio had no interest in crafting or creating pieces of clothing. Or learning how they were made. But Seig had been very adamant that he wanted Elio to go with him. 

Elio had agreed and closed Coney’s for the day so he could go with Seig to this studio tour. He walked with Seig, listening to the other talk about all the pieces of clothing he owned by Peter and how he had gotten a few for Diesel, too, but the other wasn’t as into fashion as he was. 

“I’ve heard his design studio is like walking into a portfolio of art. We’ll get to see some unfinished pieces and maybe even a glimpse of what Peter is bringing to the stores next,” Seig exclaimed excitedly, shaking his larger friend and boss as they walked.

“Yea, I’m very excited to see it,” Elio replied, trying to match the enthusiasm, but if he was honest, he was struggling to match the other’s energy. 

 They arrived at Peter’s workshop they were greeted by the smiling Succubun. He was dressed in a white shirt, slacks and suspenders.

“Hello, you must be Seig and are you his partner?” he asked.

“Oh no no…no..uhh I’m his bo…friend,” Elio replied as they shook hands with Peter and the other chuckled heartedly.

“My mistake, won’t you come in, thanks for entering the competition for the tour, I got so many applicants but you two seem like interesting folk, I like your outfits,” Peter complimented and Elio looked at himself, dressed in leather trousers, boots, a leather waist coat and collar. All black of course. 

Seig was dressed in a pair of ripped jeans, a torn-up denim jacket with patches on the back and a low cut white shirt with some kind of red print design on it.

“Thanks,” Seig replied brightly as they stepped into the huge workshop space. 

“Wow,” Elio let out as he looked around. This place was huge. 

There were tonnes of mannequins thrown around the place. Some empty and others with half-finished or finished designs. 

“Welcome to the workshop,” Peter said and gave them a tour. He showed them his drawing desk where he sketched up concept designs and ideas. There were also little doodles of what Elio presumed were plush drawings. Huh, cute. He wondered if Grape would like a little plush. That would be cute - the little purple chirop all snuggled up to a plushie

“So cute,” Elio commented and Peter looked over at him. “Oh sorry sorry, just day dreaming continue.”

Peter laughed and nodded, leading them around the workshop a bit longer, showing them some finished designs and blushing when Seig complimented him for his work. Elio nodded and agreed. They were all very nice.

“I have a few of your leather designs, we use them sometimes for performances at work, they’re excellent quality,” Elio told him and Peter blushed again.

“Oh well thank you very much, happy to hear that,” Peter told him and was about to continue when Elio spotted a little plush on a shelf. So cute!

“Did you make this?” he asked Peter and Peter looked over at him his blush now an even darker shade of red. 

Tucked away in the corner of the studio, on a shelf in the back, was a small handmade plush. 

“Oh uhhh…I used to make plush before I started designing clothes,” Peter told him and Elio’s eyes sparkled. 

“You made this, its so adorable, could you show me how,” he asked without realizing catching Seig of guard. 

“You…want to learn how to make a plush..not clothing?” Peter asked and Elio nodded. This made Peter smile widely. Nobody had ever asked him that before! “Okay, you’ve got it, do you want to make a specific plush?”

“I’d like to make one for my pet is that alright?” Elio asked, and Seig stared at him in shock. This was incredibly adorable. As much as he wanted to learn how to make or alter clothing - the look on Elio’s face convinced him to get a lesson too. 

For the next few hours Seig and Elio worked under Peter’s instruction to craft two cute adorable plushies. 

Seig made his for Diesel, it was a plush version of his pet bimble Axel - and Peter said it was pretty fantastic. A little misshapen and one of the button eyes was loose but it looked like a bimble! 

Elio on the other hand had made a green-coloured succubun-shaped plush, with mismatched button eyes and fangs. It had wings on its back and little greed horns. 

He smiled at it and showed Peter proudly who gave him the nod of approval. 

“You’re both plush naturals, it was nice to make some plushies again, ah brings me back…” Peter told them. 

“Thanks so much Peter, for letting us create these, they’re brilliant,” Elio replied and Peter gave the pair a bear hug - squeezing a bit too tight!

“You two, are welcome back any time,” he said simply and the pair grinned back before bidding Peter and his workshop goodbye. 

“You know I went in there wanting to create a skimpy outfit…but this is so much better,” Seig told Elio as they walked home. 

“Yea it is,” Elio replied, happily admiring his handmade plush.
