Your Dasher Has Arrived

“Your dasher has arrived”
Light Bulb groans, looking at the door. He’s pretty sure he checked ‘leave at door’ in the app. He pulls out his phone to check.
Shit.
He didn’t.
He looks back at his screen. The game wasn’t paused, and the characters kept moving on the Bunrim screen. An NPC asked him if someone stole his sweet roll.
No, stupid, that was the problem. His sweet roll was here, and now he had to roll his ass off the couch to get it.
“Comin’!” He yells to the door, falling off the couch with a graceless thud. He pulls himself up off the floor, contemplating if he’s lazy enough to drag himself to the door.
He decides he is.
Rug burned be damned, he’s doing the bare minimum. He couldn’t believe he forgot to choose ‘leave at door’. Ugh.
When he gets to the door, he uses his magic to open the handle. The dasher stands outside, holding the big, greasy bag of delights.
“Delivery for Mr. Bulb?” They ask.
“That’ be me. I left a tip in the app.” He huffs.
“Right. Well, uh…thank you, sir, and enjoy.” They’re setting the food down next to him, and he snatches it into his hands. Damn. Now he’ll have to walk back.
He grabs the food into his hungry little arms and races back to his game, not wanting to waste any moments. Once sitting down, he lays out his spoils to see. Four double cheeseburgers, two large fries, a fifty piece nugget… and the two liter of soda that he got earleir.
Oh yeah, tonights’ gonna be a good night. The little BunDash hiccup was just that; a hiccup. He stuffs the fries into his mouth and groans with delight. Still hot and fresh. That dasher absolutely deserved the 20% tip he gave them.
He nestles back into his couch, opens up a cheeseburger, and gets back to slaying dragons.
