Water Fight

   Benjamin was lounging on the beach, enjoying the strange warmth the cave provided. While other buns splashed and played in the water, he was taking the opportunity to close his eyes and relax. That had been the plan at least. He'd received a few different invitations to come join the fun, but turned them all down. Now, unbeknownst to him, someone was approaching him with a plan. It was Lucilia, and she was determined to get him into the water. Keeping his swim trunks dry was not a good enough reason, even if they were frilly and cute. She approached quickly making no attempt to hide it, the water splashing loudly and spraying onto Benjamin when she got close. "Heyyy," he whined sleepily. "Stop splashing meeeeee!" Lucilia looked down, amused. "Aren't you planning to join us?" He groaned and mushed his face into the ground. That and the muffled sounds coming from the bun weren't exactly a yes. She splashed water at him again. Benjamin groaned. "What do I have to do for you to stop splashing me?" Lucilia looked down at him, laughing. "Maybe come join us? See how you like it." He pulled himself up reluctantly, and dragged himself towards the water and sat down, looking up at Lucilia. Hopefully this was enough for her. She reached down, picking him up by his chest, and carried him, feet dragging, deeper into the water. Benjamin went limp, doing his best to make his annoyance known. Once they were in deep enough water, Lucilia dropped him. Now he didn't have much of a choice.

   Edward watched from where he was perched on his rock, giggling, while some bun he'd talked into petting him ran their hand over his fur. He'd left his hat and glasses at home for safekeeping and was quite enjoying the attention he was getting now, as well as the free entertainment from Benjamin and Lucilia, who were now struggling, well, Benjamin was struggling, to stay upright while escaping the other's splash attacks. He'd already had his turn in the water, so assumed he was in no danger. His assumption proved to be just that, as the ongoing splash war started to move closer and closer to his peaceful rock, and it wasn't long before the spray was sprinkling him and his friend. "Hey Dan! Over here!" A voice called from closer to the store. The friend grumbled something along the lines of 'I have to go' but it wasn't entirely clear. Either way, the petting stopped, and the friend disappeared somewhere off to the side. Edward splashed in their direction with his tail. The new source of splashing was a bit of a surprise to Benjamin and he tripped over himself, falling into the water, leaving Lucilia giggling and reaching down to help him up. "Are you alright, Benji?" He gets back up with her help, "yeah, thanks." He readjusts himself, turning to look at Edward and gives him one big splash in revenge, who slides down the rock into the water, smiling up innocently at the others. "So how's your day been?"
