Mixing Business and Pleasure!

Eliza was bored! B-O-A- no wait, B-O-E...however you speak it she's bored bored bored!! she flailed her lil bunny limbs in her room before turning to her side and staring at the uniqor by her side, hobbie had been grooming her bangs until they were left cowlicked but with a quick bathroom trip the blunt bangs were once again covering her forbidden eyes, she looked to her side and yup her horse like imp was there before she lifted them up for a little kissy "what do you think i should do for fun today?" she had already looked over her mushrooms for the day, sold the good getting high ones but she can't go out foraging right now it's a little too hot for that and they'd wilt miserably if she picked any shroomies for herself.

What should she do? answer her hobbie! she quickly stopped the uniqor from trying to turn the tap on in the shower but water, wetness, idea!! she can go out for a drink! nobody mixes a better drink than hops! they were social too so they can listen to them blabber on and on honestly with how sweet hops' voice was they could read the phone book and she'd still be entertained. So after making sure all the dangerous items were put away, frankie the bimble had their jingle toy, hobbie had been put in their pet bed and eliza was off to the bar! the bar!! she was now excited to drink!

Drinky drinky drink! they love to drink! d-r-something something drink! spelling aside eliza finally arrived at angora's place and went straight to the bar, they should do black jack again they had a great poker face but not today! no today she is going to talk it up with hops! and by talk it up she meant they'll let her do all the talking while they maybe share a clink together. Clink! she loves the sound of glasses touching tips, Clink! she giggled quietly to themselves before sitting down at the bar and tapped the counter "Bar keep! i'd like my usual" they laughed again before saying they'll order seriously now.

Hops arrived shortly after calling out to them and asked what they'd like to start off with "oh i didn't think that far, they're all so good to drink you make them so tasty...what's your secret?" hops looked proud and maybe a lil shy being complimented so early on their shift as they cleared their throat and said they had a special secret ingredient that makes all of them good "secret?...secrets are fun!" Eliza began to think "hey...would it be ok if you taught me how you make your drinks? not your secret ingredient! if i know what it is, it won't be fun to drink anymore" their tail was wagging happily as they looked eagerly at them. Well looked as in possibly being stared at since their bangs were always in the way;

She didn't know what to say, teach someone how to make one of her many signature drinks? sure! it really was just an excuse to drink at the bar during work hours but they should make some extra cash too, angora will know about it later but for now they agreed to teaching them! "this way and my lessons are expensive just so you know" they made it up as they went along and lifted part of the counter to let them through as both started learning! one attempting to teach one attempting to be taught but there were shenanigans! it wasn't easy teaching eliza as she kept falling asleep but all messed up drinks were bravely drunk by both of them so nothing went to waste what a brilliant way to earn carats!! hops was a genius!.

"and then we- we pour- weeeeeee" both were a little drunk from all the stirring and shaking of drinks, bartending wasn't easy so failed drinks were gulped down "weeee!!" eliza echo'ed back before they both face planted on the counter before staring up at the glass, it's perfectly salted rim and the right amount of liqueur which meant- they did it! both did it in their drunken stupor "weeee diiiiid iiiiit" hops sang in a slurred voice "yaaaaay" there was soon the sound of someone clearing their throat in an stern manner "hm?" both looked up from their next attempt at drinking their perfectly made drink to see the owner and boss standing there hands on her hips with a brow raised.

Eliza defended hops the best they could by paying for every single drink they made, her savings took a really big hit BUT it was worth it as she at least gave out some free work labor by cleaning up the glasses with them as they sobered up quick from the stern and dominant gaze of angora, hops seemed used to drinking a good amount and working at the same time as they both washed dishes together "hey...thanks for paying for all the drinks, it would've been added to my already giant tab" debt more like but tab sounded less threatening for peace of mind "its nothing, i did help drink half of those" she smiled at the blue bunny when they looked back to see angora looking over some papers for a minute as hops offered their new drinking buddy an item.

"Here my secret ingredient, still a secret on how it's made just add this to any of your drink mixes and boom! instant flavor heaven" eliza put it away before angora could spot the lack of cleaning from the interaction and thanked them "when's your day off by the way? we can go bar hopping which i'm sure you're good at with your name being hops and all" both let out a snort at the horrible joke as they continued their cleaning; Eliza went home stinking of alcohol and her first step was to wash it off as they kissed both her imps hello "who's mama's favorite lil impies? both of you!!" that got them some happy chirping as they remembered the item that was given to them. She lifted up the item and said to check this cool thing out "i helped and learned how to mix drinks so expect me more boozed up then usual!" the imps only watched as she put away the item "hobbie pls don't drink the bath water, i don't think the confessionals want to hear about it again" every day life continued for eliza after that, what a way to spend the day.
