Its hot. Why is it so hot? Eliza was laying on the floor splayed like a starfish face down trying to figure out why it's so hot as they looked up to their automatic calendar, the start of the summer month has begun no wonder the heat was slowly creeping in making them sweat like no tomorrow. What should she do? they didn't want to get up as they were one with the floor but the heat! they turned over like an egg being flipped and now the fresh wave of coolness hit their back as they looked up and stared at their kitchen upside down, their eyes glazed over and landed on the fridge, her daydreams taking her to a cooler place than here when a sudden thought sprung into her mind making them sit up energetically which was the only way to get her to sit up at this point otherwise the floor was their new home.
The thought she had early as she slowly got up, was that of ice cream! they should have some in the freezer as they sluggishly as a speeding snail made their way over to the appliance and found nothing! but! ice!!! THE HERESY! Eliza let out a lil scream as they now really wanted a cold treat but there was nothing sweet in her freezer, god what should she even do? they put their lil paws on their head and scrunched up their position to think, THINK! what could they do in this situation?
a carat fell out of their lil bun pocket and eliza stared at it for a whole good minute just a carat, i can't eat that they sighed when another eliza voice in her head spoke up wait! carats can be used to buy goods or services! explain? carats for ice cream she gasped at herself and picked up the carat and dug into her pockets for more and had a small pawful, just enough to buy a single cone of cold goodiness- Eliza now had a mission and it was to brave the heat of summer and Get. An. Ice cream!!!
