A Well-Deserved Rest
“That went well.” Cassardis says, stepping into the house and closing the door behind him, making sure it’s locked before turning to Sariel and gently rubbing her arms. “How are you feeling, angel?” He asks curiously.
Sariel sighs, “I’m tired. Socializing really takes it out of me, I swear.” She says, glancing up at the clock on the wall. “Do you think we have time to put the mochi out for Allocer?” She asks.
“I’m sure we have time. It hasn’t struck twelve just yet.” Cassardis replied, wrapping his arms around her waist and swaying with her as he placed his chin on her shoulder. “While you’re doing that, do you want me to wash the dishes for you?” He offered, gently placing soft kisses against her cheek and neck.
“Mmm, could you please? I’d be really grateful. I can probably help when I finish setting out the mochi too.” Sariel says, relaxing against Cassardis and swaying with him, her tail gently brushing against his.
“I would rather you rest but, if you want to help afterwards that’s fine.” Cassardis says, breaking away and kissing Sariel before making his way into the kitchen.
Sariel returns the kiss before he leaves then follows him into the kitchen as well, grabbing the mochi from the fridge and heading back into the living room, scanning the area for the best place to put the plate.
“Well, he is the demon of the sky and stars so, placing it by the window wouldn’t hurt right?” She considers, tilting her head slightly. “But, do I put it outside or keep it inside?” Sariel wonders, tapping her chin in thought. “I think it would be better to just set it inside so no wild imps take it.” She concludes, nodding firmly as she makes her way over to the window and sets the assortment of mochi down. “There you are Allocer, I hope you like them. I hope they’re fancy enough even though I didn’t make them myself.” Sariel says, laughing nervously and rubbing her arm before returning to the kitchen.
Cassardis was washing the remaining dishes when he felt Sariel wrap her arms around his waist and lay her head on his back, his tail entwining with hers as he chuckles. “Are you sure you have enough energy to help me clean up?” He asks, reaching up and gently patting Sariel’s arm.
Sariel hums softly, “Mmm, maybe. I can at least help you put the dishes away.” She says, slipping her hands under Cassardis’ sweater and running them over his chest, humming with satisfaction, her tail swishing with his. “Have I ever told you that you have a really sexy chest, beloved?” She asks, giggling softly.
Cassardis chuckles, “Mm, I’m pretty sure you’ve told me a few times but hearing it again never hurts.” He replied, drying off his hands before gently grabbing Sariel’s arms as he turned around in her grasp, lifting her chin as he leaned in and kissed her deeply, squeezing her ass before breaking the kiss and handing her a clean plate. “Last chance to let me do the chores instead.”
Sariel tiptoed as she returned Cassardis’ kiss, moaning into it before she softly squeaked when she felt him squeeze her butt. “I’m fine, really. I’m not so tired that I can’t put the dishes away.” She says, taking the plate from him then grabbing a few others, placing them into the cabinet.
After the chores were done, the pair made sure that their imp room door was closed and locked after making sure they were all in there, then headed towards their bedroom; changing into their bedtime clothes and slipping under the covers.
Sariel sighed softly as she snuggled close to Cassardis, laying her head on his chest, occasionally drawing shapes into it before running her hand across it, humming softly as she listened to his heart beat.
“So, you really are thinking about getting married, huh?” Cassardis asked, his arm around Sariel’s waist as he held her close, running his hand up and down her arm before moving to her stomach or sides.
Sariel glances at Cassardis and blushes before nodding. “Yeah. Is that weird? Should I not think about it? I mean…it is kind of soon to be thinking about but…sometimes I can’t help but wonder.” She replied, burying her head in his chest.
Cassardis chuckled, “It’s not that weird. I'm mostly to blame for it since I’m the one who brought it up in the first place after all.” He replied. “If we did get married, what kind of wedding would you want to have?” He asks curiously.
Sariel thought for a moment, “Mmm, I’m not really sure to be honest. I never really thought about ever getting married when I was small. It just never crossed my mind. It wasn’t really a dream either. Especially hearing about all the debauchery and self-indulgence we were to expect once we got down here.” She began. “But, maybe a really small one with just our friends I think would be nice enough. “What about you? What kind would you want?”
She replied, turning the question on Cassardis.
“You want my honest answer?” Cassardis asked, gazing into Sariel’s eyes. “Even though I keep asking about and bringing it up, I don’t think I want a wedding. I’d rather have something small, private, and just between us. Nothing big, fancy, or expensive. Just a quiet celebration with us and our imps. The afterparty could just be us and the others if you wanted it to be.” He answered, looking at Sariel as he stroked her hair.
Sariel hummed, gently running her hand along Cassardis chest again as she listened to his answer, tail swaying gently, as a thought came to mind. “If we did get married, who would we ask to officiate it? Wait, would we want to get it officiated? I guess not if we’d want it to be small with just us, right?” She asked, tilting her head curiously at him.
“I’m sure we’d be able to find someone at the church to do it. We could invite them to the house instead of doing it there or, we could just never have it be official and still be married regardless since it’s just papers. Or, I could get you a really pretty collar to wear instead. So that wherever you go, people will know you’re mine and only mine. How does that sound?” Cassardis asks, gently rubbing Sariel’s back, the sound of steady breathing his ears. “Sariel?” He called.
Glancing in Sariel’s direction, Cassardis noticed that she had fallen asleep, the sound of steady breathing catching his ears as he watched; rolling onto his side and pulling her close to him, only for her to press herself against him, trying to get as close as possible so she could snuggle into him further, a satisfied sigh escaping Sariel when she felt his warmth completely engulf her.
Cassardis chuckled softly, moving some hair out of her face before leaning in and kissing her forehead, then lips before reaching over and caressing her cheek. “I knew you were tired but I didn’t expect you to fall asleep this quickly.” He says to himself, watching her for a bit longer before pulling the covers up over them. “Goodnight, angel. I love you so much. I promise that I’ll do everything in my power to make this year the best year you’ve ever had.” He says, leaning in and kissing her softly before adjusting his position to better cuddle and snuggle his beloved.
Woooo! I did it! Holy shit... XD
