A Cherubmas Carol Promp

Christmas was just around the corner. Asriel had his Christmas tree set up, with beautiful Christmas lights, as well as glass ornaments, and fuzzy velvet bows. When it comes to Christmas Asriel doesn't play around with the decorations, he always wants his place to look nice and special for his friends to celebrate. Asriel sent invitations to those he invited. Although not everyone was able to show up to his place for Christmas, which was so unfortunate due to heavy holiday events. So, he had to let the others know who was coming, Roro, Dan and Dove. If they were making presents for people who weren’t coming that they wouldn’t need to bring them since others had to cancel. So, Dan Dove and Roro were each going to bring three presents each.  When Asriel heard a knock on the door, while getting everything ready for Christmas he saw it was 10:00 pm sharp, he opened the  the door seeing familiar faces of his friends, which were Roro, Dove, and even Dan. Asriel was glad that they arrived to spend time with him on Christmas Eve. Asriel saw that each of them carried three gift bags in their hands, when they stood right at his front porch his house, though Asriel didn’t mention it because they were more likely surprises for gift opening. He held a cheerful smile and warmly invited the three into his house.  

"Great you are all here, come in come in, ill prepare you all some nice hot cocoa." 

 Said Asriel with such enthusiasm, because he won't be celebrating Christmas on his own. When Roro, Dan, and Dove stepped into his house, Asriel seated them all on a nice fluffy couch. Dove speaks when seated down, "Thank you Asriel for the warm welcome." Said Roro Dove and Dan, with the others Asriel went to work on making them nice cups of hot chocolate. While each of them was drinking their cups, Asriel went to a cardboard box and pulled out some light baby blue books, which were carol books, for singing Christmas songs. Asriel thought it would be a nice idea to sing with the others, so he showed each of them a Carol Christmas book of their own. Dove really liked the idea of singing beautiful Christmas songs around the Christmas tree. Roro was a bit here and there when it came to singing but he wasn't against the idea. Dan wasn't much of a singer, so he did want to skip out on the carols, so he spoke up.  

“Eh I'm not too much of the bun to do carol singing so I'm going to pass on this one.” 

 Although Dove and Asriel insisted and pleaded Dan to join in with the three of them, 

 “Cmon Dan join us please?”  

asked Asriel. Dan refused a couple of times. 

“No thanks.” 

Dan replied. 

“Yeah, Dan it will be more fun if you joined the four of us. 

Replied Roro while he was looking for his direction. 

“I don't know you guys I'm not much of the singer when it comes to music.” 

Said Dan when he was looking at the carol books. 

The insisting was like a cat and mouse chase until Dan had finally given in and responded. 

“Okay okay, I'll do it, you all are so lucky I love my friends enough to do this.” 

 He let out a little chuckle with his comment as well as Asriel Dove and Roro. Asriel then handed one carol book to Roro, Dove and Dan. They gathered around the tree, and each sang a song of their request, dan was slowly liking this idea, and smiles developed on his face from time to time, Dan wasn't the kind of bun to smile much, but when it came to being around friends and others he loved it didn't hurt to give some smiley expression to his friends. About a good hour or two they all continued singing Christmas carols surrounding the Christmas tree side to side. They sang carols such as Jingle bells, Jingle bell rock, Frosty the snowman etc. Though this wasn't the only thing they did when singing, they also played world hit music songs and even did karaoke. When they were done with singing, Asriel handed Roro, Dove and Dan of them presents, he had other presents for buns he invited but couldn’t make it so he put those away for now, because he would more likely give it to them in person. “Merry Christmas you guys.” Each of them smiled, and then opened their presents, Dan was presented with a brand new Mochi hammer to use in his business, Dove was given a lovely blush makeup pallet and Roro was given a small little portable game console to take on the go. Each of them greatly thanked Asriel for the wonderful gifts he gave them. Dove spoke,  

“Thank you so much, I've been needing a light blush pallet for my cheeks.”  

Then replied to Roro, “Thanks Asriel, I've always wanted a portable console to play on the go.” 

 And lastly, Dan,  

“Thank you, Asriel, I've been needed a new mochi hammer for my mochis.” 

They exchanged gifts doing gift openings, being surprised by what was inside each of them. When the night concluded, Dove, Dan and Roro began to gather their things, and say their goodbyes, to Asriel. 

“Bye Asriel today was fun” 

 said Roro. 

“Stay safe Asriel and farewell” 

said Dan. 

“Maybe on new year's eve we can celebrate together.” 

Suggested Dove. That was when Ariel spoke up. 

“Thank you, guys, for coming and for sure, I hope you are all available that day.” Kai said as he gave each of them gentle embraces Before leaving his house concluding Christmas in the early morning.
