Birth of a Monster
Despite the recent disappearances and murders, Allocer had no qualms about being alone as they wandered through Burrowgatory’s cemetery. Their hooves barely made a sound as they took each step, the grass bending and shifting under the weight. Skylar had once likened them to a spirit wandering by the graves and Allocer had to concede that their standard sense of dress and appearance could resemble some sort of spectre. Still, the cemetery contained a tranquil sense of peace and silence that Allocer couldn’t find anywhere else in Burrowgatory, and if their appearance spooked other buns, then so be it. Better to be able to scare other buns away now more than ever.
Allocer’s grip tightened on the lilies they had brought with them as they approached the graves of the recent victims, seeing the flowers and gifts left behind for those lost to the killer running rampant. Their candyl, Wick, made its way down their arm as Allocer crouched in front of the first grave, taking one of their lilies and placing it with the other offerings. They made sure that Wick made it safely onto the grass, their light illuminating the surroundings properly and allowing Allocer to read the words carved onto the headstone before them.
Reaching out, Allocer’s fingers brushed over the cool stone as they wondered how the poor bun buried here felt in their final moments, what they saw. They could only hope that the police found the bun responsible and punished them accordingly, but as for now, all that could be done was lay in wait. Standing upright once more, Allocer moved on to the next grave, then the next, and the next, leaving a lily for each, placed delicately alongside the other trinkets left, the white petals a stark contrast to the colourful items. Wick followed alongside, lighting the path for Allocer as the sky began to darken.
By the time Allocer had placed their last lily, Burrowgatory had been enveloped in darkness. Instead of fear, the only thing Allocer felt was serenity in the dark. They had nothing to fear with Wick lighting their way.
“We should be going soon. There’s no need to needlessly put ourselves in danger.” Allocer’s soft voice broke the blanket of silence over the cemetery as they addressed their imp companion. They had been here so many times that making their way out would be like instinct even under the shroud of night. Dusting off their gown, Allocer felt a sudden chill down their spine.
They weren’t alone.
Allocer could tell before they even heard the other’s footsteps, just as light and graceful as their own. Turning around, they were able to make out someone approaching. Wick’s light illuminated their features as they drew closer and Allocer was able to see their almost regal appearance. They had masculine features and dressed like a lord from a fairy tale, or maybe even a prince.
“I wasn’t expecting to see another out here, especially given everything going on currently.” The stranger said in a rich voice, a grin spreading across his face, revealing glistening white fangs. Not a highly unusual sight; many of the buns in Burrowgatory had fangs, and yet, Allocer felt unnerved at the sight.
“I could say the same.” They replied, clasping their hands together. Wick stayed close to their legs, wary of this stranger.
The stranger let out an almost melodic laugh, one that made the hairs on the back of Allocer’s neck stand on end. It was unsettling, and yet they yearned to hear more of it.
“It is good to be wary these days, my dear. You never know what awaits you in the darkness. You may call me Lagosi. What may I call you?”
“Allocer.” They found their mouth moving to respond before their brain could even process. Lagosi’s voice was thick and rich like honey, his words affecting Allocer in a way they couldn’t comprehend.
“An interesting name. I can’t say I’ve ever met another bun with such a name.” It was like he oozed charm and confidence, every slight movement, every word, working together to bring Allocer into a trance.
“You have such a beautiful face, such a tragedy you keep it hidden behind a shroud.” Lagosi said, stepping closer until his face was right in front of Allocer’s. They couldn’t bring themself to move as he reached out, a large hand gripping the bottom of their veil and lifting it over their face, the cool air hitting the skin. It was discarded, left to drop onto the grass but neither bun paid any mind as Lagosi traced his fingers down the tear like markings streaking down their cheek before they trailed down to their ribbon wrapped neck.
Allocer wanted to pull away but at the same time something was keeping them in place as Lagosi did as he pleased. His thick fingers slowly worked to unwrap the ribbon around their neck, graceful in his movements, yet there was an inherent strength there, like he could snap their neck with ease if he so desired. Allocer felt helpless, yet entranced by Lagosi in a way that had a heat simmering under their skin.
Lagosi’s crimson red eyes seemed as if they were staring right through Allocer, seeing everything their mind and body had to tell. They barely took note of how their ribbon fell to the ground after he had finished untying it, leaving his pale neck bare and exposed. Lagosi ran his tongue over his fangs, his eyes briefly glancing down at Allocer’s neck before resuming eye contact.
“You know, it’s so nice to have such easy prey as yourself. Your mind is weak to my advances and makes it so much easier for me to enthral you. I doubt you’ll put up much of a fight.” They were hearing Lagosi’s words, but the meaning behind them they couldn’t grasp. What could he mean?
In what felt like the blink of an eye, the intense stare of those crimson eyes was gone and there was a sharp pain in Allocer’s neck. They gasped, but no other sound came out. No shout, no scream, nothing. The pain was over as soon as it appeared, replaced with a pulling sensation and a warmth that flowed through their body along with a tingling feeling that spread all through their limbs. It was both comforting, yet a bit arousing as well.
Allocer’s eyes started to fall shut, their body slumping in Lagosi’s grip as the pulling sensation went away. Something warm and wet dripped down their neck but they paid it no mind. The last thing they heard before losing consciousness was Lagosi’s honey rich voice.
“That’s it, no need to fight it. You’ll make a beautiful addition to my collection once you’re fully under my thrall.”

Allocer shot upright with a gasp, their hands instantly coming up to their throat. It was sticky, coated with mostly dried blood and feeling around they were able to pick up on two puncture marks,no bigger than pinpricks and almost healed already. Looking around them, they saw Wick by their side, lying prone in the grass like they had been knocked unconscious.
Memories of what had happened were blurry, like they were encased in a thick film of haze that Allocer couldn’t break through, but the one thing that was burned into their mind was the eyes. Those entrancing red eyes. Swallowing thickly, Allocer was made aware of how their throat burned with an intense thirst, something foreign and yet…
There was a smell nearby, something mouthwatering. They didn’t know what it was but they needed to have it, needed to consume to get rid of this thirst. Allocer stood up from the ground, leaving Wick behind as they followed the scent, their mouth hanging open as their new fangs glinted in the light.
Allocer's experience with Lagosi and how they became one of his vampires. This is a canon experience, although not permanent
