Let's Celebrate!

The house was a bit chaotic.

When Shibani and Dan arrived at Syl's house, they expected to be greeted by his many imps. After all, the bun's house was full of the little guys running around, sleeping, playing, or staring out the window. What they didn't expect, however, was the poor bun attempting to keep the cake on the table safe from the imps that were curious about the food and decorations. The house normally wasn't this exciting; there were new things everywhere for the celebration and the imps knew that they'd be having guests arriving soon.

Unfortunately, things always go a bit crazy when you have imps like Syl's. Menace was attempting to get away from Doki and caused a crash, Digit refused to come out from under the cake holder, Loof remained happily under the chair they knew Shibani would sit in, Soot was obsessively following Shibani around, and Bishyobishyo was enamored with Dan. Chord had flown off to capture the balloons that Menace and Doki had untied and was the only imp being helpful in this situation. At least Ribbon was just...watching everything.

Regardless of the chaos of excitment, Shibani plopped himself down on the chair and used the fork given to simply steal a bit of cake from the whole thing while sleepily relaxing his head on the table. Dan, on the other hand, had no idea how to deal with the little baby thulu that, for some reason, grew attached to him. Was he...was he supposed to pet it? What if he hurt it? He was much bigger than the little thing, he didn't want to accidentally squish it...

Syl sighed, letting out a small chuckle at the scene. Shibani's sleepiness and Dan's surprisingly gentle nature are exactly why he invited the two over. He didn't have many friends other than his imps, but these two buns have always been welcoming to him regardless of how strange he seemed. 

"I'll have to invite them over again in the future," he thought to himself, a small smile on his face as he watched Dan have a stare down with the tiny thulu that temporarily broke his mind.

Making a note that I really, really love Oleander, but since the beginning Dan and Shibani have been the ones I've gone to for prompts. I guess they're a big comfort in the NPC group. They're kinda opposite in a way but that dynamic makes me love them all the more. I look forward to seeing more of them in the future, and I'm eyeing those new plushies in the store now...
