Can Imps Be Teddybears?
Not much could pull Shibani out of his sleepy time naps, but when a soft, purring chirrup came from the spot next to his head, he couldn't help the fluttering of his rouge eyes, parting to peek at whatever may have taken up residence in his pillow pile. It was a small loafki that had decided to plop down right next to his head resting daintily upon his favorite pillow. The albino succubun let a small smile grace his petal-like lips and reached out a hand slowly to let the imp sniff him first. The loafki, known for it's laziness, had perhaps sensed a kindred soul in the slothful Shibani. Normally they were slow to warm up to strangers, but as it sniffed his hand almost experimentally, it then raised it's plump head upwards, gently butting it's forehead against his palm. Another series of purrs began to emit from the small, rotund being as Shibani scritched and pet along the underside of it's chin and avoided the small, stubbly spikes along it's back. Just then, Shibani heard the voice of Hutch, calling for a lost imp. All too soon, the succubun found the door to his pillowy sanctum opened, the impkeeper peering inside to find the pair enjoying Shibari's most prized pillow.
"Oh! Thank goodness, I've been looking everywhere for this fellow," Hutch said, grasping anxiously at the leash to their collar. They then paused a moment, watching as the imp allowed Shibani to continue petting it, even going so far as to start licking along his finger tips. That earned a soft, breathy laugh from Shibani, and Hutch crossed their arms, tapping their pointer finger against their lower lip as they finally spoke again. "It likes you... huh. Never seen a loafki warm up to a stranger so quickly."
Shibani simply looked from Hutch to the imp once more, letting out a soft hum. "Birds of a feather flock together... and nest in pillows."
Hutch thought for a moment, then began going over the details of how to care for this particular type of imp as Shibani only half-listened. Putting in full attention was so taxing, after all, and the pillows were soft, he was sleepy, and the imp was adorable and warm. Shibani nodded once, twice, then picked up the imp as carefully as he could, then hugged it to his chest, earning a small chirrup of protest before the critter eventually settled down against his rope-bound form and dozed off as well. Hutch sighed at the sight of the pair, lazing away despite having been mid-sentence with healthy grooming practices. Perhaps it would be alright to let them sleep for now... but once Shibani woke up, he would get the full rundown of how to take care of the imp that had obviously chosen him.
...If Shibani woke up.
The answer is Yes.
