Day 1: Wax

Syl's ears perked up slightly as he heard a commotion down the hallway. He got up from his soft, pillowy seat and walked to the doorway to peek around the corner of the doorframe. He doesn't know how it happened, but somehow his imps managed to light a rather large candle on the floor in the hallway, and Flicker was watching it with great interest. 

With a fond sigh he trudged down the hall, a few more of his imps following behind with unrestrained curiosity. Crouching down, Syl took a good look at the setup. The candle was lit recently, its wax slowly beginning to run down the side until it hardened from the cool air. His imps gathered around as they all watched the flame move from a gentle breath, the flutter of a wing, the sudden movement of an imp getting a bit too close. There was something about fire that just made Syl feel warm and content. It reminded him of..that guy.

He puffed out a soft breath of air, causing the flame to dance and wave more frantically as if trying to keep itself burning from the sudden wind. He wouldn't mind staying here a bit longer with his imps to watch the fire burn. He'll move it to a safe location later and give them a gentle scolding on fire safety afterward.
