Clay Mel
Framed like a tutorial infographic for fun :D
Materials used: air dry clay, acrylic paint, recycled wire (for the tail), ribbon (for the bow)
This was really fun, despite my very first attempt being a total failure. I've not really made anything out of clay in years but I think it came out surprisingly well, if a little messy. The tail holds better than expected, given I didn't use any glue to secure it, and the only real issue was me accidentally breaking one of the horns while it was drying. It's a little weird now but it's not falling off, that's all that matters.
Originally I meant to paint the ribbon as well to match her bow better, but there was no way I would get clean lines on a piece so narrow. The glue didn't want to stick very well, either, so I had to improvise...
