The tasks!

Quince had some work to do, but that didn't stop her from exploring the Toy Fair! She’s a very competent bun so she wouldn't let her work down. Just a quick stroll around the fair would be enough to ease her excitement but she didn't expect to find a small custom tent selling crystal figures of the many pets around Burrowgatory and Hell, they seemed perfect to start a collection and each one of them had a unique pose. 

“ Hi! How much for those two figures?” Quince asked while observing the details on the two figurines she chose. 

“Welcome! Hellou to you my friend. You see, I dont sell them in a normal way, if you want to “buy” it you must complete the tasks required in each one of them!”

“That’s unusual, but I accept the challenge, whatever shall I do for those two?”

“For the Stellaram you must try and get me a moonshine drink and five spools! And for the Stroodle you shall get me a dessert.”

“A dessert? “ Quince asked, arching the Eyebrow. catches 

“Yes, a Rosewater Mochi.”

“Aren't those too cheap? Why not sell it for carats?”  She asked while thinking where she would find both items. 

“I like trades, and I have enough carats. Also, maybe you’ll get on an adventure while trying to get my requests done, maybe not, well see, isn't that exciting?”

The girl was a unique bun that’s for sure. Quince accepted the challenges and shaked the young bun hand. The Bun handed Quince her number to contact in case she wasn't able to fulfill the requests in one day. Trading Spools was the hardest part of the requests, since people were collecting it for their own interest, but after some stroll and small talk she was able to trade 1 spool with five buns. She spent most of the morning in those trades, in the afternoon she went after the drink and the dessert. It wasn't really a big adventure but Quince got the chance to see some pets with new and interesting colors. Also, all the buns she met were friendly, in the end she could say she enjoyed working on the tasks. She didn't know if the bun was still there so she sent her a message and received a reply shortly after. 

“I'm still here!” The bun written. “I’m finishing a trade with a loyal customer, I'l be waiting for you!”

And so Quince made her way back to the girls tent. When she got there she placed the items carefully on the plastic table. 

“Did you enjoy your day, my friend?” She asked with a warm smile, collecting the items and placing the figures chosen early in the day, already all packed up, and handing them to the peach like bun. 

“It’s quite a nice day. Not a big adventure but a good day.”

Quince answered with a satisfied smile in return, observing the details in the packages. 

“I thought it would be more expensive so I would hold myself back and buy just two, but with your method…I think I might be back tomorrow to “purchase” some more figures!”

“That would be delightful! I will be waiting for you, my friend~”

The bun waved in excitement while Quince faded slowly from her sight. Quince still did some work before going home and when she got there she showed Mademoiselle the crystal figure that resembled her and then placed both of the figures in her nightstand, thinking that it would be fun to really get some more figures to decorate the nightstand, well that would be a story for tomorrow.
