Freshly Fallen Snow

It had been some signs for it these last few days, the cold climate and the high quantity of clouds were announcing the arriving of the first now of the year. And how pretty it was! The little snowflakes came drifting apart on the sky the night before covering the soil with a soft white tone.

-It’s like they’re twikling. – Shibani said to himself eyeing the large path of snow covering his garden. – Maybe it would be good to do a brief walk before my midday nap.

The words sound foreign for Shibani to say. His naps were something very treasured to him but he had so much desire to see more of the fluffy snow outside that he decided to shoo the drowsiness away and search for the coziest jacket in his wardrobe.   Soon enough a pair of comfortable boots and a scarf plus bonnet set were added to his outfit of the day before he finally left his home.

 The outing out to be a great one, since it was the first time that snowed its year the snow didn’t have the chance to accumulate as much and it was fairly easy to walk outside. It was like walking on a winter wonderland of some sorts: in any direction that Shibani looked he could see snow so white like his light color fur. The experience of blending with his environment was fresh for him, normally the bold and colorful colors present in the Burrowgatory wouldn’t allow him to go unnoticed in the crowd the lack of curious looks on him was a welcomed thing.

And a little more into his walking he encountered a cute coffee shop! After so much time being in the cold a warm beverage seemed like a great idea and the shop had a cocoa coffee with little marshmallow bunnies! He had to try one!

The drink had a strong cocoa flavor with a hint if cinnamon and caramel so warn and delightful that the hot liquid had been the sufficient to reawaken the drowsiness of early giving Shibani a new problem with his eyes so heavy how he would walk back to his home?   

-Ah… I thought that we had talk about this issue. – A familiar voice said, attracting Shibani’s attention.

-Oh, Dan, It’s nice to see you here… Care to help me get home? The drinks on here are so warn and nice that I feel a little drowsy right now.

With a heavy sigh Dan sat beside the other succubun fixing Shibani’s outfit with a light frown it wasn’t the first time that he needed to assist the white bunny, but as always he couldn’t  ignore the other. As soon as possible Shibani was safely put on his favorite pillow pile with a warm blanket over him.

Dan admired his work, Shibani looked so happy that he couldn’t contain a small smile and an affectionate look.   

-What I do with you Shibani, I can’t even be angry with you being cute like that.
