A Blessing of Luck & Prosperity
Oh god why did I do this to myself....
There some thing I wanna talk about with this piece cause my god was it an endevour and a half on my part!
For her outfit, I was inspired by the Oirans of Japan and their beautiful, extravagant looks. Clothes, hair, jewlery, just everything has always been captivating for me! So I referenced multiple different Oiran images (from various sources, real & fictional). I have so many pictures of Oirans you'd think I was gonna become one XD
Next was the patterns on the kimonos. I also did a lot of research to see what of patterns there are & what they mean. I chose temari & cranes....cause they look good! I'm very simple. I also simplified my patterns for my & my hand's sake.
Overall, I'm really proud of how I did here! Only thing I'm really haunted by is the face but alas, thats how it is for me at the moment.
