[Gift] Invite Only | Azure

The magnificent Fairy Masquerade was going to be in a few days, Azure had planned to stay home with his boyfriend, Eren. It was not a relevant event for him, in addition to not being on the guest list, he was not someone important in bun society.  However, days before the event he received a call;  Dan asked for his help to prepare some mochi for the party, since he needed extra hands and Azure was almost an expert at making desserts.

From one moment to the next, Azure was committed to going to the Fairy Masquerade!  He had to look for a suit, he didn't really have anything elegant. He  typically wore the same clothes everyday, a casual affair. 

He had two exactly identical pants and three shirts, as well as a unique jacket that just had to be missing.

“Sigh…” Azure sighed, he should probably call Eren.

Eren didn't usually dress so elegantly either, but he had more variety and knowledge in clothing.

 “Hey, uhm… Sweety, do you think you can help me pick out an outfit?” Azure said to his boyfriend on the phone.

 "Hey?  What do you need it for?  Did someone invite you to Angora's party? Hahaha.” Eren replied, jokingly.

 “Yes, but it's not what you think! Dan asked me to be an assistant in the kitchen.” Azure said a little nervously, he didn't want any misunderstandings.

 “Okay babe, let's meet at Cottontail Couture with Peter in the morning” Eren suggested happily.

 “Okay Sweety, I love you, thank you!” Azure smiled, although Eren couldn't see it.

As agreed, Azure and Eren met that morning at Cottontail Couture.  

 “Hello, hello, what do you need? Sorry, there are a lot of requests for clothes for the Fairy Masquerade, so I'm a little busy.” Peter welcomed them, although he looked a little busy.

 “My boyfriend is looking for a suit.” Eren talked first. 

 “S-Something simple, nothing too eye-catching.” Azure said nervously..

 “Hm, people are usually attention-seeking, do you really want that?” Peter saw him, raising his eyebrow.

 “I will work mainly in the kitchen and serving dishes, I don't want to attract attention.” Azure explained.

“I see, I see…” Peter nodded, as he left his sewing to pull out a blue baby suit from the back of the room.  “It's not a very popular color, so it's been waiting for someone for years, what do you think?” 

 “It's perfect, thank you Peter.” Azure took the suit and smiled.

 “It is a pleasure.” Peter smiled too.

 Azure and Peter shook hands after paying for the suit, Eren came out, very happy to see that his boyfriend got what he needed.

 The day finally arrived, it was the long-awaited Fairy Masquerade, Eren managed to be on the list at the last minute thanks to Dan and Azure, so he would be enjoying the night while he saw his boyfriend in the distance.

 “Aw, Azure… I wish you were enjoying the night with me.” Eren complained a bit.

 “If I have a free moment, I will do it.” Azure gave Eren a tender kiss and headed to work.

The kitchen was very busy, there were many desserts to prepare, but the main course was top priority.

“Dan! Need help with the main course?  The entrance is almost ready.” Azure was working hard.

“Okay Azure, I will check the entrance, Focus on the desserts, those mochi have to be perfect, remember what I taught you.” Dan gave indications.

Dan had always been a very good teacher, so it didn't surprise him that he was also a good leader in the kitchen.

 “Dan! The floral mochi are ready.” Azure put the mochis on a tray and handed them to a waiter.

 "Ok! Go and serve some champagne to the guests, I can take care of the next ones.” Dan told him without even looking at him, very focused on his work.

 Azure nodded and walked out with a huge tray of champagne glasses. 

He delicately handed over the glasses one by one until there were none left, it was at that moment that he turned around and caused Angora to spill Champagne on her dress.

“O-Oh no… I'll go back to the kitchen, sorry.” Azure walked quickly back to the kitchen.

Agora looked slightly upset, he couldn't believe that he had ruined her dress.

Eren suddenly walked into the kitchen, which caught Dan's attention.

 “Hey! Are you working in the kitchen?” Dan yelled at Eren.

 “Azure spilled Champagne on Angora's dress.” Eren said worried.

 “Oh no“ Peter said, almost dropping the plates he was carrying.

 “Well, I'll miss you boy.” Dan grabbed Azure's shoulder.

 “H-Huh?” Azure was getting very anxious.

 “HAHAHA! Just kidding, it's okay, it's not the first time someone has thrown champagne on her.” Dan laughed.

 Azure looked visibly distraught, with tears in his eyes.

 “Just go boy, go and try to enjoy the party with your boyfriend, the team can handle the kitchen.” Dan patted Azure's back.

 “Thanks Dan, I appreciate it.” Azure smiled slightly.

 Eren and Azure left the kitchen to run into Angora again, in a new dress.

 “A-Angora!  Uhm.. I'm sorry about what happened a few minutes ago, it was an accident.” Azure apologized.

 “Look, don't worry, accidents happen, I have spare dresses in case of situations like this, I just wanted to make it clear, you looked very nervous.” Angora showed off her new dress.

 “Y-Yes Miss…” Azure nodded.

 “Well, enjoy my party!”  Angora left the table sipping champagne, as Azure let out a sigh.

 “She's more kind than I expected.” Eren said, laughing a little at the situation.  “It was actually fun to see that scene.”

 “For me it wasn't! It has been a very stressful night…” Azure stroked the back of his neck.

 At that moment a melody began to play, it was a very calm and beautiful song.

 “I think you should relax a little then.” Eren stood up and took Azure's hand, who reciprocated it.

 They danced the whole piece and went home to sleep.

It wasn't a bad night at all.
