Dango 101

Chester had already learned how to mix drinks, but now an ad for a ‘Dango making lesson’ caught his interest. Dan was giving lessons and since Chester loves to feed Imps those colorful snacks, learning to make these sounds perfect! “What do you say Snowflake? Should I go and learn how to make Dango~? maybe even Mochis~?” Chester asked and his little pet Freign called Snowflake was happily jumping around, it loved snacking Dango and Mochis a lot. Snowflake jumped on Chester lab and stomped its little hooves on his leg. Chester laughed and petted it. “It's next week not now, you gotta wait~” Snowflake wasn’t happy about that but there was nothing Chester could’ve done to change that fact.

When the day for the lesson came, Chester put on some simple clothes and decent make-up before walking over to Dan's place. “Hey~ I’m here for the Dango lessons~” Chester purred as he walked in the confectionery workshop. Dan came out of the back from the workshop and inspected Chester from head to toe before nodding slightly. “Okay come over here.” Dan simply said and walked to a counter with many ingredients on it. “Have you experiences with cooking or similar?” the taller Succubun asked. “Oh yes! I can cook, bake and mix drinks~ I am good with following orders~.” Chester said. slightly suggestive, he was a lust type Succubun after all. “Thats Good. We will make the plain dough first. For that we need to mix rice flour, sugar and hot water, carefully and slowly, until it has the texture of an earlobe” Dan explained. “An…earlobe?” Chester asked and Dan just nodded. "Uhm, Okay!" Chester shrugged and started to carefully mix the ingredients, testing the texture from time to time. Dan was watching him like an eagle, does this Bun maybe have potential? When Chester was satisfied with the dough, he smiled at Dan. “Okay I think I’m finished!” he said, a little excited. Dan tested the dough and nodded. “It's perfect.” he simply said and Chester let out a relieved and proud sigh. In the next hours, Dan showed Chester how to mix in other ingredients to get different colors and flavors. He showed him how to make the syrups that can be dazzled over the Dangos for extra flavor and looks and of course how to make perfectly sized and accurately round dangos. At the end of the lesson, Chester had made a whole palette of different Dangos and Dan was surprisingly satisfied with Chesters work, he was a worthy candidate for Mochi making.

When Chester got home with the Mochis he made, his Imps were all jumping at him excitedly. Chester laughed and tried to get them off him. “Please guys let me get in first!”he said, still laughing and setting the bag of Dangos on the counter. His imps jumped in the bag, which made Chester laugh even more. He gave all of his Imps their favorite Dango before taking a shower and going to bed. Today was an awesome day!
