Mushroom Boom!

Dan growled as he brought the hammer down hard on the large mushroom, squishing the poor thing into submission, only for it to spring back up like perfectly kneaded dough. These shrooms were tougher than they looked, but it only caused the bun to further seethe in his rage. They were starting to take over his entire land! He grew his ingredients here! Thankfully they hadn't reached his rice paddies, but they were all over the land where produce grew! He couldn't let these vile things take over his precious mochi making, there was no telling what kind of effects they'd have on his hard work!

With another determined, rather irritable growl, Dan picked up the hammer once more, slinging it over his shoulder like a soldier going to war. Oh and war it was...

Shibani gulped nervously as he gathered up the mushrooms he carefully picked out of the gardens. Forced out of his comfortable sleep by a monstrous Dan was something he couldn't argue against; there was no way he was going to face the bun when he was this enraged. So instead of attempting to resist, Shibani decided to try to help out by at least gathering the shrooms together. He knew that later on Dan might find a way to actually incorporate this strange fungi into another new mochi for the other buns to enjoy.

Until then, he'll just...stay out of Dan's way and hoard these somewhere for later....
