Observation: Impup

OBSERVATION LOG 2024.03.28: IMPUP

I have recently been allowed to watch an impup for a short time. My imp experience starts and ends at bulbugs, so I was sure to deeply study this species of imp ahead of time.  I had purchased many toys and treats for this impup and expected to have to earn its trust -- I connect with the bulbugs easier due to my glow, while impups lack this feature. Expectations were low. Outcome....uncertain.

The impup enjoyed its toys and such for a short time, but grew bored of them. I have no idea what else to do with it. Fortunately, the young imp doesn't seem to be in distress -- in fact, it won't stop tumbling around. Possibly...is it trying to play with the bulbugs? Can Opener and Nerf Dart show no concern or stress about it.

I cannot find myself able to disagree with them.

I find this imp....endearing, in a way. Though it wanders off as in plays, it often returns to me and throws itself onto the ground and writhes, then recovers and stares at me as if it had just committed some incredible feat. My studies show I should not give an imp too many treats....but it is so proud of its tumbling. It would not be good for the imp's emotional development if I did not celebrate whatever it is it finds so impressive.
