Nesting Instincts [Shibani/Dan]
Shibani couldn't help himself. He loved his pillow pile, but nothing called to him more right now than the scent of the one person he felt the most comfort with. He gathered some of his pillows and carefully made his way upstairs, tossing them onto Dan's bed and beginning to make a messy nest of blankets and squishy cushions. This was where he wanted to be the most. He curled up into the bed, inhaling the scent of Dan like it was the only thing that kept him sane right now. He wanted nothing more than to rest here, surrounded by everything that was his companion.
Shibani didn't know when it happened or how such a man could be so quiet, but when his conscious began to stir once again he noticed a warmth that surrounded him. It rested against his back and on his stomach, sending warmth through his body in ways a blanket could never imitate. He cracked his eyes open slightly to look down and he smiled at the sight that greeted him. Dan was curled up with him, his arms wrapped around Shibani with his face buried against his lower stomach in such a protective way. He stared down softly at the sleeping man and gently brushed over his hair with a delicate hand.
Yes. This was definitely where he wanted to be.
(I'm sorry if my writing and art is awful, I've barely slept recently @_@)
I could imagine Dan being a protective type, especially if he knew Shibani was carrying or was going through these instincts. Dan may be grumpy but he's a sweetheart.
(PS: Blankets are hard to draw...)
