[PROMPT] Nesting Instincts

Matentines and breeding season being back to back is killer, but Ignition doesn't mind it all that much. Its a lot worse when he's by himself, but he always finds someone to spend time with for at least SOME of it, he's just thankful that this year he doesn't have to worry about it at all. At the moment he has broken into [....he has a key....] Arias place so he can try and sort things out for her. He knows that it doesn't really matter if she got pregnant or not, a nest can be very helpful for multiple reasons OUTSIDE of being 'knocked up'.

So far he's found a lot of pink blankets and duvets, which makes shaping the nest very easy and lining the inside even easier! It....is ON Arias bed to be fair, but thats only because he thinks that strategically the mattress should add  the firm resting structure underneath the nest. He is also super relieved for the sheer amount of blankets Aria owns, because if this nest is going to fit multiple buns it has to take up the entire bed. His phone pings every few minutes and he picks it up to text back in the middle of his great architecture escapade.

' [J.C. - 17:04]  I'm starting to think you should leave the building to Fragaria herself, At least it would LOOK appealing that way ;)'

Ignition rolls his eyes at the screen at the typed up notion that he has no clue what he's doing. Of course he does! He's built his own nest in the past....

He waits a little before adding Arias strawberry pillows and plushies towards the edges and heavier on the top side of the nest, putting a finger and thumb on his chin as he observes his handiwork. He sends a picture back in response with the caption 'It wasn't done yet, dipfuck.' He notices the typing bubbles for a bit and then they stop so he snorts. He is certain J.C is about to say something snarky.

'[J.C. - 17:11] Ah yes. The pillows will fix it for sure. Is this supposed to be it when its done?'

Ignition sends a photo of him holding up a middle finger at J.C. which gets him a laughing image in response. There are some items around the appartment belonging to him and Rowan...mostly clothing, so he throws them in there too because he is very confident that it'll help.

"Maybe i should put her pjs somewhere...." Ignition neatly folds up Arias pyjamas and puts them on the normal bed pillows BEHIND the nest, propping up its side. This isn't a matentines thing, so he isn't going to go around lining the floor with rose petals and candy but he DOES feel like the room needs to get comfier. He goes around the house, and especially the bathroom, grabbing scented candles that DONT clash in their smells. He places them around the nests room, in careful areas where they can't get knocked. He'll light them when he gets the warning text from Rowan that they're coming back.

Next, he grabs a larger bowl from the kitchen and heads into his own bag to do some digging. At long last he pulls out the smaller bag he's looking for. Instead of opening all the packets and tipping them into the bowl, making an entirely mixed mess, he decides to just put the unopened packets into the bowl to avoid the whole melodrama. He brings the bowl, now full of sweet things and snacks, to the bedside table and sets it down carefully.

His phone pings. AH. Theres the warning text from Rowan.

He goes around lighting the candles and making sure their holders are stable. He then immediately moves back to the kitchen so he can put dinner on. He had spent...most of the morning sorting that out so he could have it all prepped, so now he can just cook! Half an hour later and who arrives? Aria and Rowan. She walks in first and tilts her head a little.

"Whats that smell?" She asks, but she seems to be pleasantly surprised by it instead of horrified.

"That depends, Which smell is it?" Ignition snorts. It could be the food or it could be the candles it really depends on what KIND of scent she picked up.

Aria follows the smell all the way to her bedroom and a teeny gasp leaves her mouth. "IGNITION!"

He bolts in there, terrified a candle may have rolled over and the smell could be BURNING, but he is insanely relieved to see its just Arias excitement over the nest. Rowan sighs in a dramatic way and enters behind them, glancing over the nest and then at Ignition.

"Not bad."

Ignition beams, tail flicking to and fro at what he considers to be a compliment.

"Can i get in it now?????!!??!" Aria asks, looking between him and the bed nest.

"You can, But i'm gunna have to get you out of it for dinner" Ignition laughs and Aria immediately takes the yes and gets in.

"Thank yoooouuuu"
