Torpor had initially entered the bar in a foul mood. Not that anyone could discern this; his face retained the same stoic expression that he always had. But hadn't been happy. Kuwento had wanted him out of the house for an orgy she had opted host.
"Sorry, tonight is for the Youth!" she had said, placing a slip of paper in his paw as she pushed him back out the door.
"Don't worry Big T. You know I will Always take care of you. I have already set up a date for you. Go to the address on the paper. DON'T BE LATE. You have 15 minutes to get there!"
Yeah, he had been pissed when he arrived. But he was happy now. The soft grey bun sitting across from him was just.., Everything. Smart, funny, and not at all put off by his quiet nature. Torpor found himself, actually grinning. He hoped this night would lead to Much more than just drinks.
