Ballet Flowers

Teddy had been separated from Ballini for several days and it had been a torment for him as he had adored her so. The way she would be demanding from him yet get flustered so easily at smallest things he would do. It was adorable. Not to mention he loved to see her passion for everything she did whether it be dancing or fashion design. Really he adored his friends with benefits, honestly but he's just a glutton for them all. A giant one.

That was how he had ended up making a stop by a floral store to place a quick order for a lovely thoughtful bouquet as a gift. He had hopes that she would adore those especially considering the meanings he had put in them. They were also tied with a really beautiful lacy white ribbon fitting the delicate dancer that would be the recipient. Running a hand through his messy blond hair with a soft sigh as he headed toward the venue where the ballet performance would be taking place. At least he knew he would get excellent seat due to his connection. Also known as Ballini made sure of that for his sake. Well, and for her own sake too. Teddy being a doctor happened to be a bonus. But he is not attending as a doctor. Oh no. He's attending as a friend. A friend whom Ballini happens to fuck. That's all.

....He's totally overthinking this thoughtful gesture and his attendance isn't he? Teddy knew that if two certain dolls were around they would absolutely tease him for that. Groaning to himself, Teddy hurried to his seat in the Orchestra section. It really was among the best seating in the theatre and he settled into his seat comfortably to watch his beloved delicate dancer perform on the stage.

Due to his close proximity to the orchestra, he was able to listen with rapid attention as the music began off slow before picking up the beat and falling into a wonderful rhythm that would speak of captivating story of the ballet performance. He listened to the violins and violas start to play as flute and clarinet joined in followed by trumpet and tuba. The piano and harp were both beautiful accompaniment.

Then. The curtains on the stage finally parted ways as the first act began. The blonde gluttony watched with captivated attention as the dancers soon began to fill the stage and began the story. Both the music and the introduction of the performance set the stage for the remainder of the evening with beauty and romance happening; Befitting of Matentines. Teddy idly wondered if the dancers were dealing well with the high heat of the breeding season before mentally shaking himself out of his doctor mindset.

Then Ballini made her first appearance on the stage finally and Teddy's jaw dropped at the way her romantic tutu flattered her delicate figure, how the skirt easily billowed in graceful arc as she twirled across the stage. The way it would flow with each leaps and turns. It would be rather evident to him that she had put in countless hours with her ballet partner to put on this stunning performance. There were not a single flaw to be seen as the ballet continued.

At hour mark in; an intermission had been called and Teddy went out to hydrate with some water as well as help himself to a quick snack before returning to his seat just in time for the performance to resume. Oh he was already looking forward to finding Ballini and handing over the flowers. The meanings were absolutely perfect for this delicate yet romantic performance. Teddy smiled softly as the music slowed down into more romantic and sweet pace to follow the performance along.

Once the performance had concluded and the dancers had taken their bows with Ballini taking a lovely deep curtsy; Teddy departed from the audience toward where he knew he could easily find Ballini in the backstage and winding down from the evening.

She was indeed winding down, seated in her dressing room and massaging her sore glassy feet. At sight of the taller blonde gluttony leaning onto the doorframe, Ballini lit up with a bright smile.

"Oh! You came! And...you brought flowers?"
"I did. They are for you..." Teddy's cheeks pinkened as he easily reached her with few steps and handed over the bouquet.

Ballini glanced over the flowers with a small smile as she easily recognized them. Her eyes widened as she realized the meanings of them combined.

With a rather pleased smile, she reached for Teddy's shirt to gently tug him down for a kiss with a quiet hum, then she pulled away slightly to stare at his eyes.

"I have terribly missed you. My place tonight....?"
Teddy's overly eager nod had her giggling.
