Handmade Chocolates for Limon

Ione sighed softly as they wiped sweat off their forehead after putting the breakfast casserole into the oven. Reaching back to redo their high ponytail, they swiftly turned it into half ponytail half bun to keep their hair off their shoulders then stretched arms out with quiet popping noises. Clicking their tongue, the gluttony turned around to pull a notebook off a high shelf before leaning against the counter as they leafed through the pages until they reached the desired page.

Milk and Ruby chocolate?
Tart flavours? Add some coffee?
Creamy filling or crunchy? Jam?

They closed their eyes and groaned to themselves as sweets were not their forte but they had the urge to do something special to thank their closest friend for being such a wonderful friend. At least they had gotten the box, ribbon and ingredients needed. They just needed to get started. But where to start? Sighing softly, Ione pushed away from the counter and set the notebook down open to the specific page as they opened the fridge to pull out a container of coffee they had prepared the day before. It was set out as Ione got to starting the double boiler for the milk chocolate to be melted. The molds got set out in two shapes: hearts and spheres.

Ione got so focused that they had forgotten about their guest until they had just put the molds into fridge and closed the door when big strong arms wrapped around their waist and fangs nipped at their tied up ears. Ione yelped in surprise before slowly relaxing into the bare chest behind them. Closing eyes so they could focus on his calming presence as he nuzzled into their messy hair.
"You good?" *You didn't change out of your pajamas and you're distracted* went unspoken. Ione was still in their t-shirt and boxers they favored as pajamas after all.

"Mmhm.....Wanted to get started on breakfast and something for Limon.....I'm just about done with that...." Varrik glanced around the kitchen and saw the mess with various ingredients that he had somehow managed to sleep through. The oven's timer ding donged and Ione had to wrestle their way out of his hold so they could pull casserole out of the oven and onto stove to rest. Varrik watched as their Snack tossed mostly everything else into either the sink or back into the fridge.
Then Ione was wrapping their arms around him again and pulling slightly until he had caged them against the counter. His arms were now resting on the counter, loosely wrapped around them as Ione nuzzled against his hairy chest with a soft hum that only increased in volume when they felt his affectionate nuzzles into their ears.
He glanced down when they pulled away from his chest and glanced up at him.
"Just a kiss." They warned as their lips met. It took a good amount of his restraint to keep it gentle and soft at their pace but he ended up nibbling on Ione''s lower lip and they whined softly as they pushed at his shoulders.
They sighed fondly when Varrik shot them an apologetic look after pulling away. Ione cracked a small smile as they pushed him off so they could get their breakfast over with.

"She'll enjoy your gift," Varrik murmured as he locked the door behind him before placing a hand on their head to lightly run through hair reassuringly while Ione took deep breath then nodded
"Sweets really are not my thing to make." Ione admitted as Varrik moved around to face them then leaned down to press his forehead against theirs.
"They are good," he had stolen few samples earlier much to their chagrin but Ione did appreciate his approval as it had settled their worries. "Limon will love them" he insisted.
Ione pecked his lips with a small smile and slipped away before Varrik could get gluttony for kisses with them. Giggling at his fond amused smile, Ione hurried off toward Limon's place with the chocolate box that they had personally stuffed and wrapped up with a lovely ruffled ribbon in their hands.

Limon's place had not been difficult to find as Ione had memorized it from years of visits. They could only hope that she was home, and on her own.
Taking a deep breath, they knocked on the front door and waited for her to answer. When the door opened to a confused Limon, a smile swiftly bloomed across her face as she recognized Ione

"Oh! Come in please! What a pleasant surprise." Ione shook their head in fond amusement as they walked in after her and they went to the kitchen where Limon was experimenting on ice cream flavours.

"Hyperfocus?" Limon had to nod as Ione chuckled
"Chocolate was mine. Speaking of...." Ione held up the box and Limon's eyes widened as she took the box
"For me?"
"Mmhm! You've been such a fantastic friend that I wanted to give my thanks...."
Ione squeaked when Limon set the box aside and jumped at them.
"WHAT THE FUCK?" Ione protested as they were now holding up Limon who was giggling like crazy
"Thank you so much! You've made my day!" Limon squealed as she got set on her hooves. The box was swiftly opened with care and Limon swiftly popped in a heart that Ione knew to be the one with coffee crunch and blueberry jam filling.

"Oh this is really delicious!! Coffee and blueberry?" Ione nodded as they gestured to the book attached to the ruffled ribbon "That booklet has all information of the flavours"
