[PROMPT] Its Time...

The decision had been a long time coming, for Damon at least. He loved his imps dearly, they tended to be his only companions for long stretches since he wasn't as social as most. Lately when he had been bringing Amon to work, The imp had taken a shine to one of his waitresses, Guinevere. Usually he was a very sleepy and relaxed imp, but he seemed to grow excited whenever the purple bun was around. Trotting behind her, clambering onto her, gliding up to her face. All things Amon usually never did. As time went on, He began to realise that although he loved Amon very much...he was understanding that the stellaram may prefer the company of Gwen. The girl already had one imp but she had always spoken of gaining more, she just apparently never had the spare carats to actually get another.

Damon had called her into the office at the start of her shift. He tends to be blunt, so the action probably wasn't the best way to go about things. Gwen was likely anxious out of her mind due to this. She enters slowly, sitting in the chair as she wrung her hands together in a nervous gesture. Damon had his hands clasped together, elbows on the desk as he looked at the smaller doll.

"You must be wondering why you're in here-" Damon began but Gwen nervously cut him off

"Am i fired?" She squeaked and Damons eyes lit up with surprise and realisation

"NO! Hahaha, No, You are not fired, You can relax" Damon laughs softly and Gwen deflates in her seat as the anxiety had kept her tightly upright.

"S-so, Why?"

"This is to do with a more personal matter" Damon re-iterates and Gwen tilts her head in confusion, This is when she notices the sleeping Amon on Damons desk.

Damon gestures to the imp with an open palm. "Amon seems to have taken a great liking to you. I love him very much, and while he is HAPPY in my care...I feel he could be even happier in yours"

At the mention of his name out loud, Amons eyes open and upon noticing Gwen, He shuffles up and glides over to her lap, patting around it softly before curling up again. Gwens hand rests gently on the creatures back and looks up at Damon.

"You're just giving him to me?" She whispered softly, Surprised that anyone would do this...much less with her.

"I am" Damon nodded. On the back and top edge of Damons chair his other imp Xander is perched. He is watching the interaction with wide Gargowl eyes but does not make a sound, of course.

"Are you sure? Like this isn'g going to come out of anything you're just giving Amon?" She asks warily

Damon snorts a chuckle and drops a small bag of imp things on the corner of the desks bottom edge. "No, I'm just rehoming him somewhere that he would feel better suited. I'm sure Xander will miss the company, but Amon would likely find more comfort with you and Wednesday."

Xander glides down to Gwens lap as well, nudging through the stellarams fur with his beak softly. Amon rolls over, one of his tiny wings reaching out to tap at the gargowl gently. He takes a few moments more of prodding before returning to his premium chair-perching activities. Gwen handles the stellaram with such care. She is very gentle with him as she picks him up in her hands. Damon thinks that she must be used to being careful due to Wednesday being a teacup based imp.

"Thank You. Thank you, I'll look after him i promise. We'll visit lots, Wont we?" Gwen giggles and strokes Amons head, and he nudges at her in response.

It was a hard decision, but a decision that Damon was pressed to make. Knowing Amon was in safe and happy hands was more than good enough for him, and in the duration that Gwen worked here he is SURE he will see him plenty even despite his re-homing. Damon has never been a bun that needs many many imps surrounding him, So for just the moment he and Xander would be fine.

"Now go, Go on, Get to work" Damon shooes the girl out of his office with her new friend and bag in hand.
