[Gift] [PROMPT] Hot Spring Soak

Ignition is NOT built for winter. Its not even that cold in the caverns during winter due to the proximity that they have to hell itself...but still, when you're used to one temperature? Another can seem cold very easily in comparison. The clothes he wears are most definitely never winter suited, he's considered fixing this previously but...he kind of likes his style. He likes it enough to freeze his tail off on some days anyway. His partners, of course, do not agree with him and try to shove a sweater or something over his head as rapidly as they can. Thankfully, Ignition knows of hot springs and if he doesn't forget about them? He can go to one of those for AGES.

At the moment, He's trekking to one! Its colder out today than usual and Ignition is tired of feeling chilly. He sent out some messages to some people, He doesn't know if they'll show up but he sent them anyway. Soaking alone is fine but he always finds it can be a good talking spot if you're with others. Something about relaxing and feeling cosy really helps people open their minds, and mouths. He has an easier time fighting against the cold he's wading through the closer he gets to the spring.

Finally, He arrives! Its always a pretty spot, and a sight for sore eyes in the winter. A natural hot spring soak, edged neatly by rocks with plantation and some hellish version of moss on them. Trees and other tall standing plants line the pathways up to the spring, Since the hot spring caverns can get higher up than the normal city ones, vegatation grows better around it. There seems to be no one around yet but Ignition isn't worried. He has a knack for being either very early or fashionably late to things, NEVER on time.

The steam rolled high as he happily got in, feeling the cold seep and leak out of his body and dissolve into the warm waters of the spring. He sighs softly, Enjoying actually feeling warm for a change. His flames give off dull warmth but it really isn't enough to help during the winter. Especially if they're not even warm enough to burn anything, People can [and have] put their hand through the flame and it did nothing but warm the skin, or the fur depending on the form taken. Ignition has a tendency to fall asleep in these things...so he really hopes he wont doze off only to be awoken by like ten people.

"Firefly!!!"

His head jolts up slightly as he squints to see who could have arrived. He knows damn well who it is, Only one bun calls him that. Theres a small squeal of amusement and then a big splash as Fragaria enters the spring in front of him.

"Well, Someones early" He mused and she splashes at him briefly.

"So are you! Plus i didn't come alone." She grins and Ignitions eyes light up a little too hard. Hard enough for Aria to stifle a snort and pat his hair. "Not Rowan, Sweetie, He has work"

Ignition deflates briefly at the prospect of having a Rowan-less hot spring, However his moody pouting completely shatters into pieces when another person gets in the hot spring in a way less messy manner.

JC grins and Ignition splashes at him intentionally.

"YOU DICK YOU DIDN'T REPLY TO MY TEXT!!!" Ignitions surprise is clear on his face, but its definitely an expression of joy rather than annoyance. Not that Ignition is capable of being annoyed very often...he's mostly the one doing the annoying. Just ask Rowan, He will vouch for this.

"Wouldn't be much of a surprise if i did, Would it?" JC rolls his eyes and flicks some of the water back at Ignition.

Now he isn't sure who else would show, He kind of hopes loads more do though. The more the merrier is a saying he very much believes in. The three of them soak comfortably while waiting for more to show.

"Don't you have a show today?" Ignition asks JC and he shrugs, comfortably sitting back against the edge of the spring.

"Yeah but...Thats later, So if i can warm up now and have a good morning...Im pretty sure i'll have a good show"

"Well, We'll be there anyway" Aria grins and Ignition flicks her shoulder and sinks into the water slightly with embarrassment at his own eagerness to go. He likes his fellow performers, What can he say? Aria is of course, happy to tag! She watches Ignition when she can and she has no issue going with him if he wants to see someone else. She just likes being with him, So the location doesn't matter much to her.

They hit around half an hour of peace before someone new tumbles into the pool in a clumsy manner.

Through the squeaks alone, Ignition knows its Gwen but he waits for her to surface before making any comments.

Her head slowly pokes above the water, coming after ther tied ears. It seems like shes clipped her fringe up so she can see for now, and so it didnt stick to her face when wet.

"S-sorry i'm late i was with-" It seemed like she was going to elaborate on her activities before coming here, but she stopped herself. Her cheeks looked to grow darker, but since they were in a hot spring it was anyones guess on what caused it. Couldv'e been the heat for all they knew. She shakes herself briefly and blinks.

"Don't YOU have work??" Ignition is confused on how he even managed to get Gwen here in the first place.

"I-I'm on a late today!! I still have hours before i even have to get ready!!" Guinevere squeaked her words out, cheeks puffing out and pouting softly at the question.

"Thats...fair enough." Ignition reaches over to pet the top of her ears gently, and then noogie her head like a sibling would.

"Hey-HEY!! WATCH MY HAIR HEY!!"

Aria laughs softly into her hand and JC lightly pulls Ignition away by his broken horn. "Leave the ladies hair be you feral creature."

"I'll have you know people like this feral creature!! VERY MUCH!!!" Ignition pokes his tongue out between his fangs and they all roll their eyes at him.

"Unfortunately, I think everyone here is cursed with that issue" JC snorts

"HEY!"

Everyone laughs at this prospect.

Even if no one else ended up showing....or even if only a few more did, Ignition would be happy to spend as much of the day as he could like this.
