Snowy Pictures
Beyond a glass door, into a small wintery wonderland, Michel and Cero stood together in a large snow globe. It was a handcrafted display for taking photos or enjoying the wonders of winter.
They were there for all of a minute, before the complaints started.
Michel shivered hard, his entire body shaking. “Ew! They didn’t tell us it would actually be cold!
Cero pouted, instantly cuddling up to his best friend’s side. “Seriously, why does it have to be so cold in a fake snow globe! Isn’t this just for taking pictures?!”
Michel hissed, “Just wait until I get my hands on my manager! This was supposed to be fun, not turning into icicles.”
There both froze when they heard familiar whimpering from their purses.
Michel gasped, frantically opening his purse, “Oh Diamond my baby!”
The purple crawled forward, looking up at his master. He whined again, his little form trembling.
Michel cooed softly, petting his cold imp. “Oh my darling, my little puppy, don’t worry we’ll get out of this terrible snow globe.”
Cero also opened his purse wider, staring down at his cyan impup, Bijou. “Bijou! You poor thing!”
Bijou set his little paws against the side of Cero’s bag, looking up at his master with a happy look and forgetting for a memory he was cold. It was only when snow started falling from the top of the snow globe that the impup remembered and cowered further into Cero’s purse.
Cero stomped his foot unhappily, “Ugh now this is bothering our imps? When do they let us out?”
Michel waved his hand to the side, “They said like fifteen minutes because of something something concentrated weather something something.” He pulled Diamond out of his bag holding the impup close to his chest.
Cero snorted, “Murmur that bun did talk a lot, didn’t he? I stopped paying attention the second he started talking about the snow globe. Like we’re here for pictures, not your life story.”
“Right? Like obviously we’re here for pictures, I don’t care about how this stupid globe works. But he kept just going on and on.” Michel started to play with Diamond as he spoke, playfully grabbing his impup’s paws.
As for Bijou, the tired pup remained in Cero’s bag, no doubt going back to sleep as his master scoffed, “Should we just take a picture while we wait?”
Michel sighed as he placed Diamond back in his back and fished above for his phone. “Okay, but just so I can tell manger that we did try this photo shoot spot and that I never want to ever take pictures here again!”
Cero nodded, “Totes reasonable, the snow keeps melting on my outfit. Let’s hurry before I look like a water stained mess!”
The two buns huddled close together as Michel raised his phone. After taking a dozen photos together, the pair looked over each picture.
“Ooo I like that one.”
“Ugh no my forehead looks weird, what about this one?”
“No way, there’s a glare on my chin.”
It took them close to five minutes to finally decide on a picture, just enough time for the snow to melt and get Michel’s sneakers wet.
He shrieked, “Damn it! My shoes, are fifteen minutes not up or what?”
Cero tried to calm him down, “Your place is close by, we can stop to get you a different pair of shoes. Or we can buy a new pair, my sugar daddy gave me my allowance yesterday.”
Michel brightened, “You mean go shopping?”
Cero smiled, “Exactly! There’s actually a pair of boots I was looking at, we could get a matching pair.”
“We should send him a picture of us wearing them, maybe he’ll give you an even bigger allowance next week?”
“That’s perfect!”
Michel very slightly smirked as he reached towards his bag to pet Diamond. “Maybe I won’t kill my manager for this, but only if the boots are as cute as you said.”
“They’re gorgeous and expensive.”
“So you’re favorite?”
“Exactly!”
The two buns were too busy snickering to each other to notice the bun in charge of the snow globe was trying to tell their time was up and they needed to exit.
