Jingle Bell Freign Rockin'

“Fei… I have a grand idea that can help us to make some other succubuns to notice your temple.”

“The last time I check of your so-called grand idea is where you applied UNWASHABLE colorful paint on the TEMPLE WALLS!!!” Fei roared as he crossed his arms angrily at Kazahana who just stuck out his tongue in out of thought. The white-haired succubun facepalms as he leans down closely to his table. “But… let me hear on what kind of fucked up idea you have in mind.”

Kazahana smirks as he fiddles his fingers for a moment. “So… I heard of this… new rumor hanging around in Burrowgatory~”

“Just sit down properly already and don’t lean over the wooden railing! The last thing I ever wanted from you is to break that part of the courtyard! We don’t even have enough funds to repair it!” Fei yelled causing Kazahana to huff and pout. He slides down the railing and crawls on the floor to sit on one of the pillow chairs that is set upon a tea table by Fei’s temple courtyard.

“As I was saying… there is a rumor hanging around in Burrowgatory that there is a very very rare creature residing on to the snow forests at the outskirts of Burrowgatory. They say it is majestic, it is mysterious, and it is also provides an aura of superiority.”

Fei raised a brow at Kazahana. “Alright, then who told you that bullshit?”

“They said who- what? No! It is not bullshit!” Kazahana remarked, causing the ghosts to stiffen as he yelled back to Fei to at least show that he was not messing around.

“I gathered Intel from valuable and trusted sources. So… you gotta believe me this time!” Fei scoffed as he crossed his arms.

“Yeah… and since when do you get to be so trustable in your actions that benefits this temple of mine?” Fei said as he snickered a bit when Kazahana blinked profusely and furrowed his brow in both confusion and deep thought. “Exactly.”

Kazahana shaked his head and sighed. “Come on, I mean… I didn't know those things were quite bad to begin with but… this time I promise it is good! If we can't even find it we can just… stop and I won't bother.”

Fei placed a finger beneath his chin as he looked down for a moment to gather his thoughts.

“Fine… speak more about this idea of yours.”

Kazahana perks up and grins excitedly. Fei can see the doll-like tail behind Kazahana swishing past back and forth happily.

“Okay! Anyways… uh… so… we are going to find this imp creature called a Freign!” Kazahana said as he gave Fei a thumbs up who just sighed and shook his head.

“What are we going to use a Freign for?”

Kazahana smiled as he looked proud of his idea. “We are going to find and tame this Freign to increase the visitors and interests for your temple!”

He grinned excitedly as he said his piece. “Imagine! Cute creatures roaming the temple making the other succubuns have their interest peak once they step foot here!”

“...”

“...?”

“...you are mad.”

“What?! Hey now! It is a good idea, you know?!” Kazahana retorted, causing his ghosts to flinch around him. “If we have Freigns freely roaming around your temple then many succubuns would get to know more and be interested in going to the temple!”

Fei looks disgusted as if the idea is even morbid for him to hear. “And deal with droppings and them grazing the garden?! No way!”

“Hear me out! We can only get just a handful okay?! Say three Freigns!”

“Not good… and besides… who will take care of them?!” Fei roared and Kazahana fidgeted his fingers and whistled as if he was ignoring his question. “No, Kazahana… I am NOT going to take care of a couple of Freigns because of you. Your idea, your responsibility.”

“B-but… come on… it’s for the temple!” Kazahana whined and pouted.

It’s cold.

Kazahana forgot to bring a jacket with him, he never expected the forest to be this cold in the winter.

“What are you standing there for? I thought you wanted to get this so-called Freign of yours?” Fei stated as he sighed. “You're shivering like a leaf.”

“Oi, stop looking. Let’s just continue on and get to it already.” Kazahana retorted before violently sneezing as his ghosts shivered with him as well.

“Not good, how can we even find this so-called Freign? Where can we even start in the first place?” Fei stated before Kazahana kneels down and looks at the snow. Seeing small faint hoof prints on the snow.

“Here! A fresh track!” Said Kazahana as he followed the trail with his gaze that leads to a nearby snowy bush. “They look plenty, must be a herd.”

“I don't know buddy… looks like it belong to a single Freign if following the patterns and appearance according to your sources… it just roams around in a single spot.” Fei observes as he glances over to Kazahana who sneakily walks over to the bush. 

The sounds of his feet crunching on the snow despite not wearing any shoes. “Hey… at least wear some boots first, aren't you cold?”

“I-I am not cold enough to deter myself from achieving my g-goal-A-ACHOO!!!” Kazahana sneezed and wiped off his snot with his glove. “S-shit… I am… not prepared for the weather…”

Fei and Kazahana dips in through the prickly bush and slowly weave their way while following the small footsteps to see themselves in a large snowy clearing surrounded with dark pine trees covered with layers of snow. Fei and Kazahana landed their eyes to see a small single Freign trotting around playfully on the clearing as it chased a wisp like entity in the forest.

“Is that it?” Fei asked. “Looks smaller for a temple animal.”

“...I was expecting it to be in the same height as us… but it must be even smaller than our succubun form…” Kazahana commented and groaned. “I didn't come here for nothing… time to tame this little thing.”

Kazahana huffed and immediately transformed himself into his succubun form. His black fur drenched immediately with the snow from the bush causing him to automatically shake himself off to not get too cold. He walks out of the bush and approaches the Freign from behind.

Tip toes of his hooves, Kazahana raised his stubby hands as he reached over to hold it on behind. Fei, who was watching from the sidelines, knew there was something wrong.

“Careful, Kazahana… I think that is not a good-”

Kazahana places his hands on the Freign’s behind that catches the Freign off guard causing it's instinct to unleash a hard and intense back kick from his hind legs causing Fei to wince. Kazahana let out a silent scream as he held onto his jewels beneath the fur as he seethed through his fangs. Even his ghost flinched in a second handed experience for him.

“...idea.” Fei finished his sentence before Kazahana gaps his mouth silently.

“....hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…” Kazahana groaned before the Freign curiously bends down and raises its head up before scratching its small hooves to move the snow beneath it. “...little bitch… you are messing with me.”

“I guess he can't stroke himself after this.” Fei commented to himself as he watched Kazahana pounce on the Freign almost in a frustrating way.

“Come here!” Kazahana yelled before Kazahana kicked him again, a little lower this time. “URGHK!!!”

“...well… he is going to walk funny after this.” Fei said as he became a spectator of a succubun trying to get a grip on the little Freign.

“I am not here to kill you!” Kazahana yelled and the Freign hops away from Kazahana  who is pouncing at it causing him to land on the snow. “Ah!!! You little-”

The Freign then raises its hind legs up again and strikes its hooves on to his face.

…This might take so long for Kazahana to tame it.

“Ugh…” Kazahana slumps on the floor as the Freign continues to graze on the snow as it ignores him. “This bitch… reminds me of another bitch I met who is intent on killing me quite literally…” He groans as Fei approaches him in his bun form.

“Uh yeah, idiot. You did well.” Fei said sarcastically before he rolled his eyes. “Anyways… you should approach it gently. Here, I have this with me.”

“...a dango?” Kazahana looks at the mitarashi dango in Fei’s hands as he nodded at Kazahana. “I will feed the bitch to like me?”

“I mean… imps like these things. Why not a Freign?” Fei said as Kazahana sighed.

“Why did I not think of that?”

“Maybe you didn't expect feeding it to trust you then getting kicked on the balls to be a part of your plan?”

Kazahana scoffs and snatches the dango off the small stubby hands from Fei. “Fine… this better work.” He said as he approached the Freign a little more slowly and pointed the dango at it closer to its snout hence it began sniffing at it.

“Hey buddy, I have a little treat~ come and eat it and be my friend~” Kazahana cooed, causing the Freign to lean forward and start chewing the dango softly. Making the succubun to squeal silently in excitement. The Freign even gets closer to Kazahana and sniffs on his lock necklace and tugs it with its teeth.

“H-hey! Are you being friendly now? Come… follow me and I can even feed you with mo-AHK!!!” Kazahana wailed as he got kicked again to the place where it really hurts again. He slumps on the floor in pain while the Freign bends its neck down to nibble on his furry cheek.

“He befriended a Freign… but at what cost?” Fei muttered as he shakes his head as he watches the friendly Freign knelt down closer to a passed out Kazahana as it treated him as a “friend.”

Fei is not sure if the Freign acts hostile as a way to be affectionate to Kazahana… but it is very amusing to him nonetheless.
