Eve gets his bby

The sound of freshly fallen snow crunches under dainty hooves as Eve looks around the winterswept underground forest of Burrowgatory. He’d recently heard word from a few other buns that a rarer imp had been spotted amongst the snowy landscape once more in a yearly resurgence that was both fluffy and regal—the type of imp known as Freign. 

The succubun had been prompted to look around for others who owned the elusive imp and while rare in number, got to first hand see a few tamed ones. He’d gotten to see both its natural darker furred stare with dips of light frost blue which he liked a lot, however he was absolutely in love when he’d gotten to see a mochi-influenced variety with the softest looking thick fur of cloudy white with delicate blue on its extremities with icy antlers and tipped tail to top it off. 

He had his heart set on having a fluffy new friend. He adored his lepidaisy Skitter with all his heart but he was always careful with the elegant wings and couldn’t quite cuddle it with all the love he had to give without potentially discomforting it. A fluffy feign however, once tamed, might be more amicable and potentially even enjoy squishy hugs of adoration. With the bun’s mind made up, he heads towards the famous dango shop to see if he’d be in any luck to get some treats to use as a way to tempt a freign to his side.

Eve arrives to pick up a few of Dan’s specialty ice cream mochi, thankful that he hadn’t waited even a day longer as it seemed that the stock of his desired choice  had started running low due to both popularity and Dan’s attention shifting to an idea for a new batch. After paying a fair amount of his pocket carats he’d been saving, he takes the gently wrapped mochi and heads home quick to give Skitter some love before returning to his bun white little bun form. 

After bunning down and giving his lepidaisy plenty of attention he takes the mochi treats in cloven hooves and makes his way outside and down the streets to a trail that leads to the more forested area of Burrowgatory. Eve makes his way into the forest with a nervous excitement, though anxious he might be too late into the season that freign appear and lose the chance to meet and befriend one of his own.

Staying in bun form to blend in was a better choice than strolling around as a larger imposing doll that may frighten the flighty imp, and Eve’s white fur and wooden features certainly made it easier as well, not that he would gloat on it. After finding an undisturbed clearing with plenty of pine coverage he gently placed the treat of choice on the ground, an icecream mochi he was certain would draw the endearing little imp to him…and hopefully enough to bring it home with him.

After placing the mochi down he quietly goes to hide next to a few snow covered branches to let the magic happen. Minutes ticked to a few hours and the midday light started to wane to the painted colors of evening.

Eve was starting to think perhaps a single mochi wouldn’t suffice and with dismay was about to sit up on his haunches, until his lopped ear picked up the sound of hooves crunching snow. They were too light to be another succubuns hooves, and his heart soared as taking tentative steps into the clearing towards the treat—a freign was spotted.

The imp made its way cautiously to the mochi, looking curious at something not exactly just found lying around and Eve silently begged the freign to go for it. And for once luck was on his side as its tiny snout sniffed at the sweet treat and after apparently finding it pleasing, took a bite of it. 

Eve finally decided it was time to show himself and making enough sound to announce his presence—but not loud enough to scare the imp off, he hops from his hiding spot holding another of the mochi in his hooves, and tosses it just slightly away from himself to entice the freign to approach him of its own accord.

The freign doesn’t look too impressed at first, and it’s ear flicks back as it eats the rest of the first mochi. Once the first is gone the freign noses around the snow for any remains, and upon finding none, eyes the disarming succubun before slowly trotting forward and going for the next mochi much closer to the bun. This was exactly what Eve had prayed for and after letting the imp settle into the fresh treat very gently reaches forward with a hoof to hover above the freigns head, before softly petting the imp.

To the freigns credit it didn’t seem to mind the slight annoyance and continued to eat the rest of the mochi and once finished even snuffled at the buns fur that still had the scent of the sweet on him.

Eve smiled down at the imp, and started to move away from the clearing—back to the direction of the city, with the gluttonous friegn in tow. The bun noticed the edges of the imps fur started to lighten and fluff, and he smiled to himself knowing he’d made a new friend to care for alongside Skitter.
