Chains and Tentacles???

If there's one thing that Feleli was always known for, it was for keeping his ears up and tied with tentacles. That was not a usual ear style that one would spot around Burrowgatory.

Pair that style with his ears being pale blue and having swirls in pale pink and white plus darker pink dots lined with purple outline made for unusual sight. Feleli was rather colourful and sparkly bun resembling a holographic appearance yet not actually one. The only times his ears were actually down was when Feleli was at his home in the morning and in the evening. He favored sleeping with them loose as keeping it up full time would cause him severe headaches.

Truly, Feleli did not mind having his head tentacles hang around his neck but sometimes it could be too much for him sensory-wise. His ears also reached almost all the way to his elbows and Feleli adored it but it often got in way of his work as fashion designer. There had been several incidents where his precious ears has gotten stuck in the sewing machine and Feleli had to scramble to release his precious ears from the machine.

He had two ear styles and that was it. Up on top of his head or down and loose. Nothing else. Feleli had tried countless styles and absolutely hated them all because they had all felt so wrong for him.

Did Feleli accessorize his ears? Well it would be extremely rare that he did so as the tentacles were usually the accessory plus his star motes twinkling around him. However he had been seen to favor various types of chains decorating his ears. Usually in silver, white gold, titanium, hematite, champagne gold, and coated metal. It was rare for him to willingly mix colours in his ear accessories as he found it to be overkill on top of his already colourful ears.

He had spent several hours arguing with Peter on chain styles for his ears as he favored more delicate ones while Peter thought chunky chains would be fantastic. The pair had come to a stalemate countless times. Feleli was too stubborn to admit that Peter knew his jewelry well and Peter always refused to let Feleli have his way.

However there had been one incident where Feleli had picked up lovely roll of box chain to look closely at and Peter had been too swift to tell him that it would not suit his ears. Feleli had been angry and indignant but Peter then explained that the box chain style often snagged on things and he did not advise them for buns with textured ears. Upon seeing the confused look on Feleli's face, Peter explained that the small notches in the box chain has often snagged on small crystals, flora, scales, tentacles, stitched, and bones; causing pain. Feleli looked horrified as he reached up toward tentacles holding his ears up and thanked Peter for his warning.

The pair had discussed which chain styles suited what horns and ears best, which traits mixed well with what chains and Peter had roped few customers in for demonstration. Feleli had been deterred away from snake chains for similar reasons to box chain.

Feleli had favored ball chain to drape around his ears when it was tied up as the two rows of draped ball chain often in pearl coated metal complimented the ears beautifully.
When his ears were down, Feleli favored wheat chains to wrap around his ears on special occasions. The detailed chain did not distract from his ears and his hanging tentacles complimented the look just enough.

Popcorn chain was a rare style for Feleli but one that was worn in singular row with his up style. It sparkled in light beautifully and Feleli had several colors in his collection.

Nugget chain was another style reserved for only down ears. It would catch onto his tentacles otherwise. Bar chain could easily be used for both styles as they draped really lovely and didn't give Feleli issues.

Feleli did sell custom-made accessories on the side at his shop and it was not rare for Feleli to be seen sitting on his counter, working his skilled magic with a customer's ears and jazzing them up.
