Glutton for Food

When it came to indulging in sins especially one's own vice; Ione preferred to do it in privacy of a kitchen. Especially the one they had set up specifically for their cafe. It was in a separate building near their estate so they could keep personal and business lives separate. It had spacious kitchen with an attached pantry and small office. Ione could often be found in it especially when they were particularly inspired. There had been several occasions where Limon or Ione's partners had come looking for Ione and it had gotten to the point where it was always the first place to check for the gluttony bun.

If Ione was in kitchen it was usually to whip up potential items for seasonal flavours or limited time items. There were always lot of experiments and notes littered everywhere in that shed. Ione also taste tested their cooking to decide whether or not it was suitable to sell in the Daily Grind cafe.
Their partners had tried to offer their help on multiple occasions but they stopped when Ione sat them down to explain that it was their quiet time to focus on business and they preferred to have complete control over it. It was how they indulge in their sin as a Gluttony.

Ione was currently in the kitchen, two slow cookers going steadily for hours with two similarly made chilis. There were few recipes written down on another counter for stews and Ione was looking over both of them to decide which would suit the current season.

There were several peppermint leaves, sticks of cinnamon and ginger lying on another part of counter; obviously the main flavors for the cold season. Ione knew just what to do with them but they wanted to focus on chili and stew first as they would take the longest to perfect. The recipes kept changing and they had finally narrowed down to two for the chili. Two near identical ones except one was tomato based and other one creamy cheese based. Both were spicy, included tofu and lot of vegetables as well as seasonings. Ione just needed to know which base tasted better. They might need to rope in few other buns to help taste test.

The stew had three recipes; one spicy, one with tofu and one vegetables. Ione would work on those and eventually reached a point where the best was taken from each option and combined into the ideal dish.

The drinks was most simplest of all; Ione had to turn the flavours into syrup as well as create coffee beans to be sold for the season. Gingerbread, peppermint and cinnamon were the perfect three flavours for coffee, hot chocolate and tea drinks. Refreshing, Spiced and Warm.

Ione often tasted their cooking as they went along until perfection was reached that it was suitable to be made and sold in the Daily Grind cafe. Ione wanted to offer only the best to the customers who came in to purchase something to enjoy. They thrived on that.

Ione was a glutton for food, drinks and watching people enjoy their hard work.
