Fuyuko and the Thieving Nun

Fuyuko had wandered in to the Church of Sulfur seeking some books on something she was researching and had been looking over them for hours when her ears picked up sounds of the head priest Oleander speaking. With a soft yawn and stretched out limbs, the starry prideful bun trotted off with her albino harpup following closely behind toward the rows of pews. She soon relaxed in a pew half out of sight as she listened to his sermon with a small smile. They were always enlightening to listen to when she did stop by on rare occasion. Fuyuko had never been religious and thus had very few reasons to stop by the church but she did appreciate seeing both the head nun Mercy and the head priest Oleander whenever she did stop by. They were always so warm and helpful. Unfortunately, for such a bun with pride as vice, she often fell asleep easily anywhere anytime so that is what had happened. She dozed off while listening to Oleander's smooth voice. 

 

It was not until his voice had ceased from the open room and had cleared for a while did Fuyuko slowly crack open her amethyst eyes to the sight of Mercy in front of the tithe box, and it was....open??

Slowly, Fuyuko sat up and watched with high curiosity as the head greedy nun removed the money. They were being counted rather meticulously which Fuyuko approved then her jaw slowly dropped at the very scandalous sight of Mercy pulling out their money draw stringbag. It was untied and pulled apart. The carats went into the bag, one by one. It continued until a very good portion of the tithe was now in the satchel. Mercy pulled it shut and tied with a lovely bow. The box was returned to the original position. Fuyuko got to her feet, hoping to slip away from the scene and out of sight however unfortunately, Mercy had just turned around only to freeze at the sight of Fuyuko and her albino harpup attempting to make their not quite discreet nor smooth escape.

"........I pray you have seen nothing" they smiled serenely as Fuyuko's amethyst eyes narrowed slightly then shifted downwards at the satchel in their hands before glancing back up to meet Mercy's eyes then slowly; Fuyuko shook her head in answer.

"....Next time.....Make sure nobody is around because you never know when they just may wake up" she sighed at Mercy's sheepish smile.

 

"....Do not tell Oleander?"

"Depends" Fuyuko stared them down, obviously rather displeased at their attempt to keep her silent. 

 

".....I can offer you a cut from this?" Mercy shakes the satchel and Fuyuko's frown deepened into a scowl. She was not the type to pride herself on being wealthy.

"....Sex?" Fuyuko scowled at that "Not a lusty vice here" she pointed to her curved horns that all prideful buns had. Blop bounced about on her hat.

"....I would make threats but you are a rare visitor......Food?" Fuyuko eyed the nun before sighing

"Unfortunately I am easily bribed by food......" 

Mercy sighed from relief and led Fuyuko to the kitchen nearby. 

 

"I have been working on this batch of soup and I need a taste tester" they explained as they ladled some into a small bowl before handing it over along with a spoon.

 

Fuyuko immediately spooned some into her mouth and tasted it before pausing

"Need more seasoning" she admits "And it would taste fantastic with some garlic bread" she smiles as she finishes the soup.

 

The prideful bun settled into the kitchen and helped Mercy with preparing the soup until it was seasoned to perfection then Mercy was called away to help with other buns so Fuyuko got to working on making the bread dough, letting it rise then cutting it into loaves to bake. By time Mercy returned, the loaves were cooling down and Fuyuko was preparing the garlic mixture for final stage of baking while Blop flopped about on a nearby counter.

 

Soon the loaves were being sliced up and smothered in mixture before returning to the oven to crisp up. 

When Oleander followed the delicious scent leading his nose to the kitchen, Mercy and Fuyuko were ladling up soups for themselves while Blop he albino harpup was watching curiously. A third bowl was quickly conjured for the priest and they all settled in to try out the soup with the garlic bread. With high praises from the lusty priest and greedy nun, Fuyuko was heading out of Church of Sulfur highly sated and she made the decision to stop by Dan's Dango to visit Shibani and maybe swipe some dangos or mochi. 

For a prideful bun she sure did love to be a glutton with food. Her albino harpup on the other hand just wanted some cuddles and to be part of the scene.
