Trouble with Imps? Nah Hutch's on it.

SOMEHOW while trying to leave the Dan's Dango, the little Phloof had finally jumped off Ballini's head and somehow stuffed itself with a very delicious Mitarashi Dango. Both Dan and Ballini screamed, one in angered shock and other in appalled surprise. The little thing's colouring started to shift from black into soft pink with brilliant red eyes. They bounced around rather happily before the dancer yanked it up by the tail then adjusted her hold on it.

She then bowed deeply to Dan "I am so sorry I will absolutely pay for that!" and indeed she did pay before scurrying off with the newly changed imp securely in her grip. Somewhere along on her way to The Imporium, a lovely Cygnette had began to follow her and Ballini groaned deeply at the two imps, one in her arms and other right on her heels. 

"Just my luck" she sighed as she opened the door to The Imporium.

"Welco-oh dear you don't look too pleased. I'm guessing those were not wanted imps?" Hutch spoke kindly while trying to hide their amusement. Ballini blatantly stared him down as she held out the phloof

"This little shit ate a mitarashi dango and changed colouring" she then pointed downwards at the cygnette "And this one started to follow me. What does this say about me?" 

It was clear as day that she had no interest in keeping imps. However Hutch had a feeling that the dancer would change her mind soon.

"They are quite fond of you. Come let's sit down and get comfortable" The purple prideful bun led Ballini to a beanbag where she sank into with ease and the albino phloof was immediately snuggling into her arms and the cygnette was nesting in her stomach. 

"Dangos has ability to change an imp's colouring, it depends on what specifically. Mitarashi Dango can change an imp into an albino" they gestured to the phloof

"And I believe this one is cygnette and it is pedigree imp with their very specific appearance. Quince often feeds them all kind of elaborate and extravagant sweets" Hutch explained as Ballini glanced down at the preening imp

"......I shall name this phloof 'Clara' because she reminds me of a character in one of ballet performances. Very childish and innocent but extremely friendly. And this one shall be Odette because for some reason it reminds me of another character from a separate performance..." she sighed softly as she snuggled deeper into the beanbag

 

"I was not expecting to gain two imps in one day but I suppose I should get used to this......I could always learn to make sweets....Or go to my friends" she smiled slightly as Hutch chuckled

"Excellent idea! I do have few books regarding looking after them that go into more depth. Let me go get them!" they ran off and Ballini somehow dozed off while scratching Clara's fur between their horns. When Hutch returned with three books, they sighed fondly at the sight before placing the pile down by her side. At the bottom is recipe book on feeding imps. the middle is standard book regarding care and the top is encyclopedia regarding imps and their history. 

 

By time Ballini awoke from her unexpected nap, the sun had set and Hutch had just locked up. She stretched out her limbs, yawning widely and Odette squawked in protest as they flew off toward the pile of books while Clara bounced around on her stomach. Ballini sighed softly at her imps before sitting up to  take closer look at the books. She smiled as she took the pile before getting up. Clara made itself at home between her glassy horns and Ballini already knew that Odette would prefer to be on the ground. She thanked Hutch for their help and headed out.
