Phloof and Dangos

Somehow. For some reason. Ballini had been saddled with an adorable little Phloof to look after. 

"It will soften your rough edges a little~!" She had been told. She had glassy limbs for fuck's sake. Not crystaline! Ballini grumbled at the unexpected responsibility as she stared down at the tiny ball of fluff in her arms. ".....At least you're cute?" she sighed as she strolled down the streets toward the library near her apartment. 

"........I'm going to need books on looking after you through. You'll be my first imp, little one......." she sighed "And I need to think of an suitable name" Ballini soon entered the library and gathered few books based on suggestions from the library. She then departed with the imp nested securely between her glass horns and five books in her arms as she headed to her apartment. It was not long before the books were on the coffee table, Ballini was sprawled out on the comfortable sofa and a book in her hands. It was only two hours later that her stomach made itself known by growling loudly and the greed doll flushed as she sat up to stretch out her stiff limbs.

 

"Well I need to make food....What do you even eat anyway, little one?" She stared at the phloof who just blinked back. "You don't know huh?" Ballini sighed as she went to her kitchen. Soon she had a simple egg lettuce tomato mayo sandwich made however her phloof was sulking on the counter and Ballini blinked at her.

".....Not something you eat huh?" she huffed in amusement as she brought the plate back to her coffee table so she could quickly thumb through her library books to find the feeding information.

"OH dangos and mochis.....I don't have any here. Look like we're paying Dan a visit, little one." The cute little fluffy imp bounced excitedly all over the sofa before Ballini grabbed and set on her head

"Relax. I have to eat this sandwich first then we will go" she giggled as she dug into her sandwich happily. Once it was consumed and the plate returned to sink, Ballini hurried out of her apartment with her phloof hanging on between her greed horns. When she arrived at Dan's Dango, only Dan was at the counter, refilling the counter with more dangos.

 

"Hello Dan! Can I get two sticks of Kuri flavour please?" Ballini politely requested and paid for them before offering the phloof one stick. Much to her surprise it was swiftly consumed.

".....Did you even chew?" Ballini stared up at the ball of fur who bounced on spot. She sighed and was about to leave but the imp was on the counter and staring down through the glass.

"Seriously?" Ballini sighed before startling visibly at the furrowed eyebrows on Dan's face

"I'm really sorry! I just got this little one this morning and I'm trying to deal! Can we get two Kinako please?" she once again paid and fed one stick to phloof who was FINALLY full.

 

The kuri dango was covered in chestnut paste and tasted really sweet. Ballini adored the chewy texture of the dango. The kinako dango were green dango covered in roasted soybean flour which she really enjoyed.

 

It was time to pay Hutch a visit if Ballini wanted to know more about looking after imps.
