Feeling Horny? More like Greedy!

During the wardrobe rehearsal for the upcoming performance, every single one of Ballini's jewelry for her horns that she had brought with her for the wardrobe director had been 'accidentally' destroyed by a bitter prideful doll rival who had been angry that some mere greedy doll had stolen her coveted role in the performance. Ballini had been devastated and had thrown a fit, demanding compensation by having the prideful rival hand over her jewelry. They had nearly gotten into a physical fight when the head director intervened by flatly telling the prideful doll to reimburse her in carats. Ballini may have exaggerated the value a little but she felt she was due for a suitable reimbursement. She blatantly ignored some of suggestions her rival made regarding places to go for jewelry and flounced out of the studio hours later with some remarks that she would be getting her worth in jewelry. 

 

It did not take her long to find Cottontail Couture and one look at her told Peter everything he needed to know: Something had upset the ballerina and it had to do with her jewelry. He sighed deeply when Ballini explained the story and he took her to the jewelry section full of supplies to make the adornments for horns.

"It's been a quiet day so I can make time to help you with this" he smiled slightly and Ballini was quite grateful toward the kind creative sloth. 

 

Ballini was swift to throw the gold chains out of consideration. She has always favored the delicate silver far more. Both box and ball chains were immediately out of consideration as they were not the chain styles Ballini favored plus she felt they clashes horribly with her ballet attire. Popcorn chain was also out of running for same reason. 

She grabbed some rope chain and had Peter craft several rings using those adorned in various jewels for assorted occasions. Same happened with infinity chains. Several simple rings and caps were obtained and adorned in small jewels of various colors. Several more rings were textured to Ballini's satisfaction. She even got two horn caps that had wheat chain linking them and adorned with several drops of diamonds. There were also two textured rings that were linked with cable chain and had droplets of amethyst. 

 

Did Ballini get several more matching jewelry pieces for her tail as well? She sure did! With many grateful thanks to Peter, she was out of the store and heading home to drop most of her purchases off before returning to the studio with her new much curated selection of horn jewelry for the upcoming ballet performance. The wardrobe director was far delighted and complimented them, saying they were far better upgrade in comparison. Her rival looked absolutely incensed but Ballini did not care because she got her desired role and newer jewelry collection. Her mood for the day had been significantly improved.

 

She may have outgrown her greedy vice and relaxed considerably more nowdays but she still had her days where she craved new additions to her jewelry and wardrobe curations as well as to her ever growing list of roles she has danced in. 

 

The horn rings linked with cable chain and adorned in amethyst droplets was absolutely perfect for her performance. It would twinkle and sparkle as she performed her pirouettes or her ballet leaps. The new jewelry would also compliment her delicate tutu very nicely. 

 

Ballini often reserved her tail jewelry for wear outside the ballet because they were more prone to either flying off or breaking or both which were not desired at all.
