Britches and Dreamy Stitched Outfit!

Fuyuko had so much fun going shopping for new outfits that she was back on the street full of clothing stores in all kind of styles. However she was on a mission. A mission to enter a very specific store. For she had heard wonderful tales of a certain cream sloth bun who had been endorsed by a well-known blue-purple lust fashion model. Fuyuko wanted to find Cottontail Couture and explore the offerings it had. Perhaps create her very own custom outfit with help from Peter? Oh the high hopes the nervous prideful bun had as she searched the store banners until finding Cottontail Couture. Fuyuko then shifted into her doll form and pushed the door open inside the store.

 

"Welcome in! I'll be with you in a moment!" a cheerful voice called out from somewhere inside the store as Fuyuko slowly walked around while looking at the beautiful merchandise that the clothing store had to offer. There were several stunning long gowns and suits on display, perfect for autumn events and Fuyuko spotted few scattering merchandise that looked like Peter was preparing to shift the season over into winter fashion. They were all so beautiful and Fuyuko had stopped to admire at a gown that looked to have been made from fallen leaves. 

"That is one of my favorites" Peter spoke up from behind Fuyuko who jumped in surprise before flushing at her reaction. She smiled slightly at the amusement on his face. 

"S-Sorry! I wasn't paying attention" she stammered before taking a deep breath

 

"Your merchandise are really stunning" she complimented as she wandered into the fabric section with Peter following her

"I'm wondering if you could help me put together something? I have an idea but I lack the skills...." she sighed and Peter brightened

"I would love to help you. Pick out the fabric needed and I will help put it together" 

Fuyuko started out by heading straight to the satin section to pick out a beautiful medium turquoise satin fabric as well as a light silver satin fabric followed by a stunning icy blue sheer chiffon fabric. Fuyuko then went into woolen/knit fabrics section to look through their offerings before settling on dark yet wintery blue fabric. Peter was amused as he carried the three rolls toward the trimmings. A lighter icy blue almost white fur trim was added to the pile and Fuyuko searched the lovely offerings for final accents necessary to finalize the look she was imagining on herself. She eventually picked up some crushed velvet swirls trimmings and silver chains. They were all brought to the sewing table.

 

The first two rolls were swiftly cut and sewn together into a lovely floor-length gown with flowy flutter sleeves that just barely covered the shoulders. The neckline was very subtle draped cowl that just brushed collar bones. It was well fitted at the torso before flaring at the waist toward the floor beautifully. 

The dress had used the medium turquoise fabric with the light silver being used for the lining and could be seen through the skirt hem, sleeves folds and the neckline folds.

 

Then it was time to focus on the outer layer which required more care. The way Fuyuko described it was a coat dress with buttons to the side instead of down middle and it would open up beautifully just below hips. It would have the trimmings alongside the hems and down the sleeves. It would be a turtleneck coat with bell-shaped sleeves.

Peter was eager to get it completed into reality. Finally the two pieces were done and Fuyuko had to sprint off to grab simple dark silver boots to go with the two pieces that looked absolutely dashing on her. Of course Peter went around her, helping with adjusting and altering so it was the best fit on her.

 

"I have an idea to finish this off. Be right back!" The enthusiastic sloth doll ran off to gather few things that had Fuyuko increasingly curious about his plans. Soon he was back and already stitched something up rather beautiful.

Fuyuko's hat was carefully set aside and Peter went to town on her hair; carefully manipulating it into a beautiful updo. It was then finished with dark blue fur trimming decorated in stunning silver chains carefully manipulated into delicate arrangement. It truly completed the outfit and Fuyuko could not stop admiring herself in the mirror as she kept spinning around. It was absolutely perfect and she was elated!

"Thank you so much, Peter! That is the best accessory to finish this off! I will have to come back for more outfits from you!" she giggled and Peter had to smile at her excitement. 

"I can't wait to show my friends this new outfit!" Fuyuko chimed as she got back into her original outfit, forked over carats necessary and carefully brought the new outfit home.
