Glitter and way more glitter!

"Sugar...check! Unsalted butter....CHECK! a carton of eggs....CHECK! Vanilla extract....I just ran out at home so...."

The blue starry prideful bun muttered as she wandered the aisles at the local grocery store

"Where are they stocked......Produce?" she wanders toward the produce, right past the apples aisle and stares up at herbs adorning another shelf.

"......Vanilla bean is not a herb is it?" Fuyuko pondered before flushing lightly when a nearby bun muttered disdainfully that it was not.

"S-Sorry!" she stammered out as she fled toward the bread aisle

 

".........It's not baked product either" Fuyuko pointed out to herself as she hurried toward the baking aisle where she found vanilla extract, baking powder, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg and confectioner’s sugar. 

"What's left....salt, apples,....WAIT DIDN'T I PASS BY APPLES EARLIER? OH NO!" Fuyuko whined and pulled down her floppy hat in shame

"Flour and Greek yogurt....Let's get salt and flour first..." The starry blue bun went to leave the baking aisle but had to double back for the all-purpose flour and salt before hurrying back to the produce aisle. 

 

"Granny Smith, Fuji, Honeycrisp, Pink Lady....which do I choose.....Ah! Honeycrisp and Granny Smit will be best! YOINK!" And with that, she's off to check out of the grocery store with all her supplies! Now she just need more ingredient, her EXTRA ULTRA SPECIAL SUPER DUPER SECRET ingredient that will just make her baked apple fitters THE MOST DELICIOUS THING EVER!!

 

No no not a grocery store nor liquor store NOR kitchen goods. THE CRAFT STORE! Yes, the craft store. What in Burrowgatory could need from a crafting store?? The blue starry prideful bun went straight toward an aisle that carried bottles of glitter. Her clouds multiples to surround her in pure excitement and anticipation at her plans to bake. With a quiet laugh, Fuyuko removes her hat to waves the clouds away so she can better focus on the offerings on the shelves.

 

Extra fine glitter. Chunky glitter. Glitter glue which promptly got dismissed by the eager adorable succubun. Glow in the dark glitter looked tempting but Fuyuko had a feeling it would not be effective and she quickly dismissed candy canes shaped glitter due to it being far too early for those. Fuyuko's purple eyes brightened up at sight of chunky mixed red, orange and yellow glitter bottle. It was grabbed and she stopped by the baking aisle on her way to cashier so she could grab a leaf-shaped muffin tray to bake fritters in.

 

Once Fuyuko had arrived at home, she shifted to her doll form, removed her hat, put her long white hair up into high bun and adorned an apron. A very frilly pink apron. 

 

Oven? On and preheating. The new tray? Unpacked, washed and thoroughly prepared. 

 

 

Sugar and butter were swiftly beat into perfect fluffiness before an egg and a splash of vanilla extract were tossed in. Yogurt finalized the combination.

 

The dry mixture of flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and baking powder were completed and had the prior wet mixture folded in. 

 

Fuyuko somehow managed to avoid hurting herself despite several close calls while peeling, coring and dicing the two apples to be mixed into the mixture. They were then carefully spooned into the tray and given a liberal sprinkling of the glitter to be tossed into the oven.

 

Fuyuko then looked down at her apron and whined when she realized she had gotten messy all over her apron AND on her lovely clothing.

"....I so hate laundry" she groaned as the white-haired pride doll went to cleaning up her mess in the kitchen from her preparation. After a bit she went to remove the tray from oven to let cool before replacing with second batch. 

 

She was soon finished with the kitchen cleaning and had put all ingredients away except for the glitter and confectioner's sugar. They were mixed into liquid paste using some water. 

"I can't wait to bring this to the block party later!" Fuyuko chimed happily as she prepared to ice each and every single baked apple fritter with the absolutely best secret ingredient: GLITTER AND WAY MORE GLITTER.

It truly do make everything taste so much better.
