paranoid procrastination
Rigel bit his nails with feverent anxiety as he stared at the message app on his phone. It had that all too familar red circle of death with a one in the middle, signifying someone had messaged him. Oh gods, what could someone want now? People only messaged him if they wanted something, which only stressed him out even more.
He sat on his bed as he continued to stare at it, his anxiety continuing to mount even more as time went on without opening it. His mind was going rampant with paranoid thoughts...What if it was his mother and something had happened at home? What if it was the dean at the college he went to saying that he was banned from campus? What if it was...Bellamira?
Rigel groaned and threw himself back into his pillows, rubbing his face into them as he screamed. This always happened when someone messaged him, he procrastinated to purgatory and back when anything came up on his phone from someone. He couldn't ever bear to read what it was, even if it was just a 'hi' or 'how you been?'. It usually was never bad, but this didn't stop him from procrastinating to high hell. Regardless, he turned his head as he whimpered, continuing to gaze at the app in worry.
After nearly an hour of rolling around in his bed and opening his phone and closing it, he still couldn't bring himself to open the app and read the message. However, this just made the person who sent the message worried, his phone buzzing again. This caused Rigel to borderline jump out of his skin in fear, who was it now?! Was it the same person, or someone else?
Regardless of how many messages the person sent, it took Rigel days to respond to whoever it was. Then, when he finally opened the message and read it, his heart sunk to the floor and his whole body went cold. Oh gods. The messages were from Bellamira.
rigel showing off his slothish vice in full force in the form of extreme procrastination...but can you blame him?! answering messages is stressful!
