[PROMPT] Workin Hard [4]

Running a bar isn't all that its cracked up to be. Does Damon mostly leave the front of house work to the wait-staff and the manager? Yes. Does he also leave the back of the house to the chef and the cooks? Yes. Does he leave both with clean-up? Absolutely not. He has a lot of paperwork to do, and always seems to have accounting or hour and shift schedule managing to do, so you don't see him working down on the bar floor as much as you would have when this place opened.

When it did open, Damon didn't have much actual experience, only researched knowledge. Considering he was a professional Dominant before he retired that area of work for himself? He didn't do too bad for a first run.

Today Damon IS working front of house however. Manager called in sick, nothin' he can do, if you're sick, you're sick. Most of the employees they have are on the younger side, Earning themselves some carats so they can keep themselves steady within the city, its not a bad start. As a habit, Damon tends to label them all as kids, they are adults of course but to him, well, if you're not 40, you're 5. In contrast, a lot of the patrons they have that come in are on the older side. Wonderland casinos bar is very popular and lively, but the crowds can be a bit much as you get older and...peace and quiet becomes more of a priority. Occasionally they do get some young ones coming through but thats likely because its easier to hear yourself speak in this place.

The atmosphere is subtle and gentle, honestly its kind of the best moody and broody place if you need that sort of thing. There are nights when things get fiery, but thats mostly if Ignition is performing since he seems to send the air electric no matter what the song is. They do have a piano here, one which Damon CAN play, he just doesn't. Other performers do come to play it sometimes though, accompanied by a stray trumpet or other brass conductor for the sake of the mood.

He's mostly sticking to the bar, Its...antisocial of him, but he finds that the walking and bothering tables is no longer in his list of expertise. He will chat with bar-stool sitting patrons though if he's working down at their end of the bar.  One of the younger waitresses is rushing around like crazy and Damonalmost has to chuckle at the sight. He no longer has that level of energy but he was quite the cold and calculated type at her age, so it never showed even when he did. Unless in the bedroom, which was technically work, then you may have gotten a glimpse.

"Slow down before you hurt yourself, kid. The tables can wait a few extra seconds, it wont kill 'em" Damon called over without making his voice too loud. Enough to project but not enough to disturb anybody. The girl just nods before rushing off...in a SLIGHTLY less busy manner so Damon can't scold her for ignoring his super sound advice. He finishes drying the glass he had in his hand, setting it upside down gently and whipping the drying cloth over one of his shoulders lazily. He had been drying out a liquor glass so it hadn't taken too much time.

The man glances back at the ingredients neatly aligned behind him and shook his head. Way more organised than he could put them, Manager is good at their work. He glances back at one of the patrons who just sits down and smiles subtly.

"What can i get you?"
