Aria & Quince: Ice Cream Dreams

Aria tried not to blush while regarding Quince. The two of them had spent some time together here and there, given Aria's affinity for stopping by her shop for pedigree imps. Quince was a beautiful, boisterous woman, and a Succubun like Aria found herself rather drawn to her company.

"It's... interesting that you'd invite me over," Aria admitted in a low tone, her arms folded as she looked away with furrowed brows. "Does this relate at all to the fact that I'm a returning customer?"

"Kind of," Quince said with a slight smile. "Actually, I wanted to spend some time together aside from all of that. I was wondering  if you'd like to make some dessert with me? Specifically, I'm talking about ice cream."

Aria was a standoffish, often angry and defensive bun. Yet, she found her heart racing, her disposition softening at such a friendly offer. She was hardly given such an opportunity in regular situations, with many buns much too intimidated to approach her.

"That sounds... wonderful, actually," Aria said. "I would really appreciate the company."

Quince giggled and then leaned in with a sly smile. "Is it a surprise that I'd ask you to spend time with me?"

Aria blushed a bit. "I have no complaints. How shall we go about this... process of making ice cream, then?"

"I was thinking—well, you could follow me to my kitchen, and we could just..." Quince made an emphatic gesture. "We'll layer it up with lots of tasty goodies! Any kinds of fruit or sweets you want, as long as it'll fit." She grinned as she spoke, growing more enthusiastic by the moment.

Aria hummed softly, considering the offer. She didn't see much harm in having a little fun with the other bun. "Very well, then." She was used to conducting more serious and stressful business, so having the chance to let loose was a welcome change.

"Great!" Quince grinned widely. "Let's get started, then!"

The two succubuns made their way to Quince's kitchen. A tall, sturdy doorway stood in the right corner of the living room, which led to the main kitchen.

"Tell me," Quince began once the two buns arrived in her kitchen. "What ingredients are you into? What's your favorite flavor?"

Aria felt a bit bashful at the question, her tail whipping around behind her as she considered it. "Oh, that's difficult, but... I'd have to say that I'm rather partial to strawberries and cherries."

Quince couldn't help but chuckle. Of course, she donned attire that featured those very two fruits as accessories. "Oh, yeah? Heh. Good taste in fruit, clearly. We can for sure add that to the ice cream."

Quince opened the refrigerator door without hesitation and pulled out several cartons of different fruit, berries and cherries and all. She set them onto her kitchen counter. "How about these?" She gestured with one hand toward a carton of fruit, which was ripe as ever.

Aria shrugged and leaned in, analyzing the contents in the carton. She hummed lightly and glanced at her with intrigue. Quince peered at the bun curiously.

"The strawberry one," Aria decided, bending over the counter to grab it. "How about raspberries, too? I don't see why those wouldn't fit well with the others."

Quince quickly opened up the cartons of fruit, obviously relieved that the other succubun was going to eat what she so fervently kept in her fridge. "Yeah, that sounds awesome! Let's go for it."

After washing the fruit thoroughly and preparing some freshly made ice cream, the two buns worked together to create a wonderful, marvelous dessert. Aria was quite pleasantly surprised by how much fun it was to spend time with Quince. 

The ice cream came out smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness and tartness. Its flavor was perfect.

Quince beamed as Aria and her finished the dessert.

"This ice cream is quite incredible, I must admit… we've done well with it," Aria said, enjoying the taste immensely. "It's great to spend some time like this, with other buns."

Quince nodded, beaming upon hearing the comment. "And, you're a great person to spend it with! It was a wonderful experience. I can tell you're into some of my sweets, too." She leaned in a bit closer to Aria. "I mean, you've been coming to my store for a while, right?"

Aria nodded quickly, then her expression became bashful, avoiding eye contact. "That's... correct. You've provided some wonderful imps."

"Well, you've provided wonderful wagashi, so I'd say it's a great arrangement." Quince glanced at Aria's hand, eyeing it meaningfully. "You act all grumpy at times, but you're actually really great company."

Aria's cheeks turned a rosy shade, a bit taken aback, but not in a bad way. "Well, thank you, Quince. I appreciate it." Looking away, her hand found Quince's.

Perhaps making friends with other buns wasn't so bad after all.
