First Meeting
Yetei followed closely along as Cinnamon guided them along the street. Tei hadn't really been out of their home aside from shopping for awhile, so they were a bit curious as to where they were off too. Since they had become friends with each other, Tei had heard stories about Cinnamon's work but they honestly weren't sure where they even worked.
They slowly wandered along a bit aimlessly while they trailed behind their friend. Tei casually looked around at their surroundings, glancing at people passing while they walked and peeking at shop windows when passing each.
"Sooooo....where exactly are we going, Cinnamon?" Tei asked in a half confused, and a little impatient tone. "I feel like we've been walking for hours. Do you know how much I hate walking, man? That's why I have a chauffeur...it's been like three blocks already."
Cinnamon couldn't help but snicker a little at Tei's impatient tone was he walked. "You act like three blocks is a long walk." The red head couldn't help but be amused as his tail swished behind him. "You wanted a good drink, yeah? Well the best drinks that I know of are from my workplace, so..." Cinnamon turned his head a little to look back at Tei. "We're going to my work! I'm sure my boss will pour you a drink so good you'll cream yourself."
Tei's face was a bit scrunched, though Cinnamon was unsure if Tei was upset, or just tired. Either way, the look wasn't malicious. It was more of an exasperated expression than anything. Though it appeared the only words that got through Tei's ears were the ones of Cinna's last sentence.
"Cream myself? What? I don't...," Tei's voice trailed before they stifled their voice with a loud cough. "Nevermind that, it's not important. I'm sorry, ok. I'm not used to walking so far. Maybe I'm spoiled but meh...anyway how much further until we get there?"
Cinnamon cackled loudly when he heard Tei cough loudly. "It's fine, don't worry about it princess." The bun's tail lazily swayed as he hummed a bit. "Not too much further, in fact we're right outside the door." Cinnamon smiled as he stopped.
The building Cinnamon stopped in front of was a modest sized two story front. There wasn't a whole lot going on outside of it to really even show that this was a bar and brothel besides the small sign hanging next to the door. "Here, we are." Cinnamon just went to the entrance as he turned to look at Tei. "The famous Smoke Out!"
Tei looked up at the sign, their eyes looking at the sign and narrowing as if they were studying it intently. They stood there with their mouth open slightly as if their brain was lagging. Suddenly they shook their head and came back to their senses.
"Smoke Out?" Tei asked, though it seemed like they were more repeating it than asking with their tone. "Why's it called that?"
"My boss smokes out a lot of newcomers." Cinnamon chuckled a little. "I'm the one that came up with the name. He never really thought of giving it a name besides Bar and Brothel." The red haired bun just opened the door, holding it open for Tei. "C'mon! I'lll introduce you to him!"
"He...smokes people...," Tei murmured softly as they entered. Their words seemed like they didn't fully understand what Cinnamon meant, but they didn't bother to ask or clarify. "Also you're introducing me to your boss? I thought most people aren't super close to their bosses. But maybe it's different for you then."
"Yeah he smokes them out, like he smokes more than any person could handle!" Cinnamon just smiled as he closed the door. "Well yeah, he's my daddy. You'll love him, trust me." The taller snickered a little as he looked at the bar. "Oh, there he is! Daddy!" Cinnamon shouted, causing the large bartender to turn and look at the pair.
"Why do you call him daddy-," Tei was beginning to ask before turning their head and seeing the large gray bun behind the counter. Tei's face changed from confusion to a look of...awe? Was it awe? Surprise? Honestly it wasn't clear. But they did stare at the bartender blatantly with a look of bewilderment. "Oh....d-daddy..."
"Yeah, everyone just sort of calls him that." Cinnamon is just smiling. Oblivious to Tei's look. "You can call him Daddy or Cassidy." The large bun just looked over at the two as he gestured them closer. A large cigar hung between his lips as clouds of smoke seemed to stay near him. "Cinna," Cassidy's voice was rough and deep as he spoke. "It's good to see you, who's your friend?"
"Cinnamon, you didn't tell me the hottest fucking dude in Burrowgatory is your boss," Tei mumbled before shaking their head, seemingly trying to gain a little bit more composure. "Eugh, sorry. Not what I was expecting when I got here. Name is Yetei Ouroba. Cinna's friend, Wilde's neighbor. That's the TLDR. I don't like my full name though so, Tei is fine."
Cinnamon paused a little at that comment. Just looking at Tei a little. "Wilde's not my boss." He's just scratching his cheek a little as he sat at the bar. Cassidy is just raising a brow as he looked at Tei. "Well, it's nice to meet you Tei. I'm Cassidy, you call Cass or Daddy if you like."
"Cassidy, I see. Nice name for a nice man," Tei said immediately, almost instantly forgetting of Cinnamon's existence the moment they looked at Cassidy. "Cass has a nice ring to it. So you single or what, big man?"
Despite the initial shock, Tei was...not subtle in their thoughts in the slightest. They knew they could easily get shot down but, apparently they didn't care and wanted at to least shoot their shot.
Cinnamon choked at Tei's blunt question as he looked at his friend with wide eyes. Cassidy was just blinking slowly as he did his best to process what was just asked of him. "I'm single." He just grunted a little as he moved to start a round of drinks for the pair.
"That's all I needed to know," Tei gave a cheeky grin before glancing over at Cinnamon. They gave a face at their friend as if they were confused at his shock. "What? Did I say something wrong? I know what I like. Wilde's nice, but not my type. I like me some large, stronger men."
"Still, you're hitting on my boss!" Cinnamon is just dying as he slumped onto the bar counter. Cassidy is just ignoring the whole conversation as he handed the two a drink. He was just clearly pretending to be deaf right now.
Tei shook their head and waved a hand as if to dismiss Cinnamon's worries. While Tei could understand Cinnamon's concerns, they also weren't going to pass up on a possible prospect. That's not how Tei ever rolled, nor was this the first time they made a friend of theirs cringe at their forward attempts for courtship.
"Cass, did you found this place or what? How long have you been running this place?" Tei asked while sitting up slightly taller, resting their head on one of their arms while watching Cass's movements intently. "I'm...curious. But also interested in learning more about you. For numerous reasons."
Cinnamon couldn't help but just turn and start drinking. Not wanting to see the dumpster fire that might come out of this.
Cassidy was just cleaning glasses as he looked at Tei from the corner of his eyes. "I opened this bar a while back." The man just grunted as he put his glasses away. "I've run this bar before you were probably born." The man's just looking at Tei a little. "Why's that?"
"I don't know I'm pretty old. Can't really tell it since I got a pretty face but you'd be surprised," Tei admitted, ignoring the fact Cinnamon looked like he was hoping for the sweet relief of death next to them. Despite this, they seemed pretty much unphased by things going on around them...not ignorant, but clearly not bothered.
"Also, it's because I find you attractive. Is that really so hard to believe? Why else would I ask if you're single? But then again, I know it's not that common for buns to be monogamous or commit, so could really be something you don't hear from people much. But that's also surprising to me. Again, I think you're the most attractive person I've come across."
They finished their words with a little shrug of their shoulders before giving a half nod and sipping the glass they got from Cass.
Cinnamon is just looking at Tei, a bit wide eyed. He was just surprised by his friend's blunt admission of attraction and he wasn't the only bun shocked. Cassidy nearly dropped the glass he was putting away.
"You really think all that?" Cassidy was just in disbelief as he looked at Tei. Stopping what he was doing. Cinnamon couldn't believe what he was witnessing. He had never seen Cassidy ever stop working. "Only a few buns have told me they ever thought I was attractive, but they never wanted anything more than just a fun time."
"That's their loss, but that's also my opinion. I get it though. I don't show my full face anymore for the same reason. People can be kinda shallow or only want flings. I'm not really into that," Tei said as they finished the last of their drink. "I just like to say it like I see it, though. And I'd rather put my thoughts out there than keep stuff complicated."
Tei proceeded to slide over their empty glass over toward Cassidy after finishing their thoughts.
"Also, my vice is gluttony and I love booze so...works to my favor since I want your attention anyway."
Cassidy is just at a loss for words as he looked at Tei. Just moving to pour them another drink. "Well, that's something I appreciate in a bun. I'm not into just flings, I want something more serious and closed off." The large bun leaned down to look at Tei. Blowing smoke out of the corner of his mouth, Cassidy just watched the other's reaction. "Think you can handle that?"
"If I say yes, can I go out on a date with you?" Tei retorted obnoxiously. They added to that factor and deeply inhaled in the direction of the grey bun's smoke as if to challenge him. Did they get second hand smoke from that? Probably, but they didn't seem to give a shit. "I ain't a basic bitch who backs down from a challenge. I like the chase."
Cassidy is just grunting a little at Tei. "I suppose." He's just moving to stand up straight. "If you like the chase then you better be prepared to impress me." Cinnamon is just gawking a little as he looked at his boss and at Tei.
Tei was making a bit of a face, seeming to be thinking deeply before turning over to Cinnamon and looking at his face.
"What? Did I say something weird?" they asked their friend in confusion as if oblivious to their point of view. Tei gave a small shrug before stepping out of their chair and getting to their feet.
"By the way, big hot dilf man, how tall are you? I need to know so I know how tall the heels I wear will have to be for our date, so I can kiss you on the mouth." They emphasized their point by standing on the tips of their hooves and making kissy faces at Cassidy.
"You just successfully hit on my boss!" Cinnamon is just melting a little. "No one's ever done that before!"
Cassidy is just looking at Tei as he raised a brow. "I'm six foot seven." He's just a bit amused as he smirked a little. "Who says I'll kiss on the first date?" Cinnamon was just balking at this point. He'd never seen Cassidy get flirty!
"Sorry Cinnamon, I just know what I like," Tei reiterated, their words sounded like an apology...but an insincere one, at that. Tei's attention was more focused on Cassidy's response anyway. They pointed at him as if in a challenge.
"No, I WILL kiss you on the first date. I know it will happen because I declare it. Anyway that's good to know. I'll have heels for that specifically. I'm going to be back tomorrow, after your shift, and I'm going to woo you. Dilf."
Cinnamon as just letting his head drop as he groaned a little. He could Tei wasn't sincere as he just moved to drink. He just couldn't believe his friend as he gave up.
Cassidy just smiled a little as he looked at Tei. Turning to look at Cinnamon as he cleaned a glass. "I like your new friend Cinna." Cinnamon could only groan a little as he looked at Cassidy. The large man only turned to look at Tei. "Alright, feel free to stop by at midnight then."
"I will be back then, but before I leave I want one more of your drinks. Surprise me with whatever you got though. I want to be dazzled before I head home," the little frosty bun requested before they would leave. They adjusted their fur coat a bit, then fluffed their hair before shooting a smug look at Cassidy.
Cassidy raised a brow as he smiled. Cinnamon already knew what the man was going to make as he stopped drinking. The man pulled out quite a few high end bottles of booze as he started to make a drink for Tei. Just handing over the drink to them in a nice glass. The booze seemed to sparkle under the light. "Here you go."
Without skipping a beat or any hesitation, Tei downed the entire glass before sliding the glass back over toward Cass. They gave him a look of seriousness and determination...and a slight pout.
Pointing intently toward Cass, they said, "Ok, I'll be back tomorrow, big man. And I will be here midnight, sharp. And if you take too long to leave work, I'll complain about it."
They finished off their small...rant, perhaps, with making a kissy face again at him, before looking over to Cinnamon.
"I'll see you tomorrow Cinnamon. I have a lot to plan for now. I have to leave. I'll call Willy to come over and spend time with you instead. Raincheck and all that shit. I'll catch you around later."
With that, Tei turned swiftly before strutting out of the bar's doors with both confidence and determination. They made sure to walk out in a way where their butt would be facing in Cassidy's direction. They always seemed to have a thing for theatrics, anyway.
Cinnamon is just nodding a little as he looked at Tei. Dying at his theatrics as he looked at Cass. The man was just amused as he went back to work. "Alright, I'll see you latter Tei. Let Wilde know I'll be waiting for him to come." Cinnamon smiled a little as he waved at Tei.
Cassidy was just bemused as he watched Tei's ass as he left. "I hate to see them go but love the view they provide." Cinnamon is just choking as he stared at Cassidy, bug eyed.
A collab piece between ZarozAestoth and I's buns Yeti and Cassidy respectively!
