Inoue Square Edition | TOY FAIR CRAFT CHALLENGE
And here's my completed entry for the Toy Fair craft challenge! I've been working on this since yesterday so yup I took my time- XD
For my entry I decided to go for a paper craft doll! I made Inoue and his Thulu pet! I also included some extra shots for details showing!
The process images include:
1) The piece making stage
Here I started working on the base pieces is would nedd + drawing all personalized bits as the horns, the shape of his pants, hair and other details such as the tail and bunny ears.
2) The completed pieces + sketch:
Here are almost all the final pieces for the doll, some are missing since I made new and extra bits while working on this!
3) Colored stage:
All pieces colored! In this stage I used copic markers to color the skin and face, I used sharpies/copic markers for the body and used different color pencils to shade the parts, as por example, I used cyan and yellow to color the green bits and give it the more neon green base color inoue's ears have. I also used different color ink microns to line the different parts. The hair was colored using a pastel purple and a dark purple pencils to give some more detail.
4) The thulu base pieces:
Here are basically the pieces for his imp Mr Bottoms!
5) The articulation of the wings:
These wings can move, yes! They can rotate a bit to positionate them more comfortably.
