Clay Cupid (WIP photos & info in description)

The strawberry burnt whilst baking so this is why he is sad, I covered it with paint but he knowsssss xD

Didn’t wanna post too many WIP photos + didn’t take all of them but noted the steps down here too

1. Spend nearly 3 hours conditioning white dry cracked clay then mixing to get the right pink color
2. Make the body, limbs, tail and ears out of the pink clay
3. Add the details – white clay inside the ears, wings and the lil hearts for horns and tail
4. Assemble!
5. Make a lil strawberry accessory
6. Use chalk pastels to add gradient to the tail, body and ears
7. Baking time! (had to keep retrying, it wouldn’t go hard and then the strawberry burnt rip)
8. Painting the white details to belly and face + painting the strawberry red to cover the burnt
9. Painting over the horns, tail and wings because I don’t like the colour I initially used and then added the hooves/nails, hip markings, cheeks and eyebrow details
10. Add the face – drawing on the eyes and mouth with pen, adding the white shine to the eye and a dot of pink iris color
11. Add dots on strawberry
12. Finished!
