Toy Fair . Craft Challenge- Shika Edition
CROSSES THE FINISH LINE!
What an adventure this was asdfgh
Everything was going great up until I had the bright idea to buy a gloss glaze.....
It made Shika's colors really dark and shiny....
I read on google you could remove it with sandpaper (which was a lie...)
and then I read to use nail polish remover (that kind of worked.... but it gave her dandruff/dry skin/ white patches...)
In the vigorous toothbrush scrubbing of 2023 she lost an eyelid... (I yoinked the other one off)
and then her tail fell off as well dkjhdf IT WASN'T GOING WELL!!
I didnt have much clay so I mixed most to make the colors for the food...
I painted the tomatoes and the pillows, and glossed a few things uu
Then I wrapped Shika up with some red yarn to make Shibani's rope
Oh, and I made a little cardboard box out of scrap cardboad and some hot glue!
ANYWAYS
It all worked out in the end, but
she was definitely at her cutest when freshly out of the oven
that was my fave Shika... she will be remembered!!
