[Gift] Meet Cute Disaster

Antonio loved working at Coney’s. He loved the atmosphere, the work, the clients, and his boss. Elio had hired him to help work the bar and work downstairs in the basement, where they often had events of pleasure and lust. 

It was a great place to work. He’d started dating too, a couple of people now and then, even Elio and his boyfriend Jidao had taken him out for a meal. They’d all hit it off, and he liked them both. But, Antonio also wanted somebody for himself. He loved having fun with Elio and everybody else he’d gotten to know, but he also felt that he was missing out on something. 

With Elio, it was pure passion and lust. But he wanted what he knew others had. He wanted that deeper connection. 

And he was beginning to feel like it wouldn’t happen. It didn’t help that he was too lazy to go out and find it. He wanted it to come to him. To drop into his lap like a neatly wrapped present. 

Antonio smiled at the thought of a succubun falling from the sky, wearing nothing but a gift bow and a tag addressed to Antonio. 

“Too convenient,” Antonio said, answering his own daydream as he cleaned out one of the liquor glasses.

Elio watched him, before Seig popped up behind him and asked. 

“Why are we staring at Ant?” 

“He’s been cleaning that glass for the last fifteen minutes,” Elio replied.

“And you didn’t stop him yet?”

“I wanted to see how long he’d clean it until he realized.”

Antonio looked over at them, snapping out of his daze. He smiled and gave a wave, looking at the glass and putting it away before picking up a second one. 

“Is he okay?” Seig asked.

“I’m not sure, I’ll keep an eye on him. Maybe he’s got something on his mind,” Elio replied. 

The morning went on. Seig was set up for his show, and everything was clean and ready for opening. 

When the doors opened, Elio stayed behind the bar with Antonio, serving drinks to the first few who came in. Coney’s was always busy, even in the early hours. 

“Diesel,” Seig said as he spotted his boyfriend coming inside. “I didn’t know you were finishing early?”

“Well, I wanted to catch your set, oh and I brought a friend. You remember Mojave, he just dropped his car in with me, so we said we’d come get a drink,” Diesel replied and Seig smiled, giving the other a wave.

Antonio stared at Mojave with big green eyes. His stare didn’t waver either as he served some pints and tugged on Elio’s shirt.

“Who’s that?” he asked, and Elio followed his gaze.

“Oh, that’s Mojave. He’s been away for a bit with some races, he’s a driver, but he’s one of our regulars think you joined just after he started the latest cup,” Elio explained and went quiet as the other didn’t respond and just stared. He waved his hand in front of Antonio’s eyes and frowned. 

“Antonio…Antonio…Burrowgatory to Antonio hellooooo,” Elio called and the other looked up at him. 

“Oh sorry, he’s just, he’s quite handsome, isn’t he?” Antonio said and looked up at the larger man, who shrugged.

“He’s not really my type but yea, he’s pretty good looking…” Elio started and smiled. “Want me to ask him if he’s single.”

Antonio blushed and laughed awkwardly, playing with his ears and moving to serve some more drinks.

“No, no…no…he’s probably settled or something, guy like that…probably has a whole harem or something,” Antonio said, his skin flushed with a blush as he spoke to the Elio shaped dust cloud.

“Huh…no…ELIO!” Antonio shouted as he watched the buff bar owner make his way over to Diesel and Mojave. His tail wagging mischievously as he went.

“Hey Mojave, how are you,” Elio said and the racer grinned shaking hands with Elio and chatting the small stuff as Antonio stared in horror. He watched them talk and then watched as Elio pointed over to him. But before Mojave got the chance to peer at the green-furred succubun the other had ducked behind the counter out of sight.

“One second,” Antonio heard Elio say and listened for those thick black boots as Elio reached over the bar and practically picked the other up by the scruff and pulled him over the counter.

“He’s a bit shy for some unknown reason, but Mojave, this is my newest hire, Antonio, Antonio, Mojave,” Elio introduced, and the driver smiled so brightly it blinded poor Antonio and he blanked as the other reached out his hand to shake it.

“You okay?” Mojave asked him and Antonio didn’t know why. Oh, he was…in the back office? When had this happened? 

Antonio was lying on the leather sofa in Elio’s office, Mojave with him, holding a bottle of water and looking concerned.

“Must have been hot or something because you just passed out. You’re not sick, are you? Can I get you anything else?” Mojave asked him. 

Oh demons, he was so nice and pure. Antonio was going to explode!

Antonio laughed awkwardly as he sat up. Scratching the back of his head.

“Would you look at that…ha..ha…I must have just…um…yea passed out because of the heat,” Antonio agreed with another awkward laugh. 

“Here, have some water,” Mojave said and opened the bottle. 

“You should go enjoy yourself, I didn’t mean to drag you away from Diesel, where is Elio?” Antonio asked as he took the water, sipping it quietly. 

“Oh don’t worry, Diesel can wake and Elio had to run the bar so I offered to make sure you were okay,” Mojave told him and Antonio blushed. 

“Well thank you, it’s appreciated,” he replied and finally sat up. “I think I’m okay now, I should probably get back to work.”

“What time does your shift end?” Mojave asked him.

“Oh I’m on till close,” Antonio started and saw a glimpse of disappointment on the other’s face. “But I’ll have a break, maybe we can have a drink?”

“I’d like that,” Mojave said to him, and Antonio smiled back at him. 

“It’s a date,” he replied and died for a moment - why did he say that!?

“A date it is,” Mojave agreed, and the pair headed back to the bar. Mojave went to find Diesel and Seig and Antonio went back to the bar. Suddenly he felt a lot more focused on his work. 

“You doing alright?” Elio asked him as he finished off making a cocktail that sparked electricity. 

“Yea, I think I am, thanks Elio,” Antonio replied.
