[Gift] Sharing the Spoils

After a long hard day of perfecting textures, learning how to stuff the delicate, sticky dough, and the intricacies of crafting each flavor, Akaito finally produces some dango they can be proud of. Dan, pleased with their final products, lets them know they've passed inspection and begins to close up shop. But...there are so many extra - 'rejects' - those just not perfect enough for sale. "What if we went down to the night market and gave away the extra?" Akaito says, in a tight, tiny voice. Dan pauses while putting his mallet up against the wall, smiles, and says, "I think we can arrange that. After all, what good is it to create something and never see it enjoyed?"
