Vampiric Rites: Catalyst

This is the first prompt in the Vampiric Rites series. This series can only be completed with a succubun you own, and all subsequent prompts in the series must be completed with the same character.
Every vampire was turned for a different reason. Perhaps their maker loved them, or simply thought that they might make a useful servant. Perhaps their maker took pity on them when they were sick or dying, or turned them against their will as an act of cruelty. Perhaps they learned of vampires through occult research or happenstance, and actively sought one out in hopes of taking on the curse.
For this prompt, depict the catalyst for becoming a vampire for a character who either currently possesses the Vampire status, or to whom you intend to apply the Vampire status. This catalyst may involve showing the character's maker and their intentions in turning them, or the character's discovery of vampires and their motivations for wanting to be turned.
If a vampire's maker is shown in this prompt, they must be an existing succubun with the Vampire status.
Vampires turned after the events of the Dead of Night plot may have Calla, Timothy, or another succubun with the Vampire status (with player permission) as their maker. Vampires turned before the events of the Dead of Night plot may have Lord Lagosi, Calla, or another succubun with the Vampire status (with player permission) as their maker.
Alternatively, older vampires turned before the events of the Dead of Night plot may have an "offscreen" maker who is presumed to be dead in the current time. In this case, art pieces should not visibly depict their maker, and written pieces should focus on other elements of the character's catalyst, without naming their maker or treating them as a character in the piece.

Vampiric Rites: Death
Part two of the Vampiric Rites series.
Details
You must complete the prompt "Vampiric Rites: Catalyst" before submitting this prompt. This series can only be completed with a succubun you own, and all subsequent prompts in the series must be completed with the same character.
To make a new vampire, three things are required. The maker must drink the mortal's blood... The mortal must drink their maker's blood... And the mortal must die. For a period after their death, anywhere from a single night to as long as three days, their body will be indistinguishable from a corpse as the vampiric curse works it way through them. Then, they will rise again as a vampire.
For this prompt, depict the death and undeath of a character who either currently possesses the Vampirism status, or to whom you intend to apply the Vampirism status. This may involve depicting scenes such as the character lying in their coffin between their death and undeath, clawing their way out of their grave, or in the arms of their maker as they lose their life.
If a vampire's maker is shown in this prompt, they must be an existing succubun with the Vampire status.

Vampiric Rites: Initiation
Part three of the Vampiric Rites series.
Details
You must complete the prompt "Vampiric Rites: Death" before submitting this prompt. This series can only be completed with a succubun you own, and all subsequent prompts in the series must be completed with the same character.
After the existence of vampires was revealed to Burrowgatory, the vampire lord Calla ensured their peace by instating several old customs into vampiric law, which vampires must pledge to abide by or lose the protection of the vampire lords. New vampires may only be turned with the permission of the vampire lords, and both newly turned and older vampires alike must present themselves to Lady Calla to pledge fealty to her newly established court.
For this prompt, depict the vampiric court initiation of a character who either currently possesses the Vampire status, or to whom you intend to apply the Vampire status. In this initiation, they must kneel before Calla, pledge to obey the law of the vampire lords, and drink of Calla's blood (either from the wrist, or from a chalice). After this, they will gain full access to the Sanctum that hosts the vampiric court gatherings—though it is up to them if they will stay connected with vampire society, or return to solitude or the company of mortals.
