Hello, Burrowgatory! We hope you're enjoying  the double-length Swimsuit Season event.

In lieu of a new event update this month, we're proud to announce the biggest single update to Succubuns.com's gameplay since our launch, bringing you 4 new permanent features and over 60 new items. We hope you'll enjoy having a whole new side to playing Succubuns!

Errands

After testing them out in the Hazebloom Harvest event, errands are finally a permanent feature of the site.

Every day, players will refresh 3 stamina points to spend running hour-long errands at the Grocery Store, Liquor Store, or Kitchen Goods Store. The items obtained from these stores can all be sold directly from your inventory for carats!

But that's not all these items are good for, as we've also fully fleshed out errands' partner feature...

Crafting

After making its first appearance for crafting mochi in the Year of the Bun event, and then sparse usage for event items since, the crafting feature is now here to stay.

Using the ingredients gathered from running errands, you can now craft a variety of food items. These food items can be sold from your inventory for more than the sum of their parts, so it will be up to you if you want to sell your ingredients, or save them up for recipes that will increase your profits!

Desserts can be crafted using only items from the grocery store, and sell for 6 carats a pop.

Entrees will require some kitchen goods in addition to groceries, but will net you 22 carats!

But that's not all...

Hops and Dan have graciously agreed to share some of their knowledge, and you can now craft standard drinks and dango in addition to buying them from shops.

Complete the prompt Mixology 101 to unlock the recipes for Bourbun, Sin and Tonic, Drabsinthe, and all 8 sinful trait drinks. You'll also get a free sample of Hops' Secret Ingredient, a rare item required for crafting all trait drinks.

Complete the prompt Dango 101 to unlock the recipes for Black Sesame, Strawberry, Matcha, Mitarashi, Red Bean, Blueberry, Ube, and Cocoa Dango. You'll also take home a Dango Stick and Rice Flour, to help you craft your own dango of choice.

More types of errands, ingredients, and crafting recipes will be added over time. We hope you're excited to watch the depth of Succubuns' gameplay grow!

User Shops

To make it easier for players to conduct item transactions without using the item trades channel in our server, we're very pleased to finally add user shops to the site.

Players can now select items and pets from their inventory to stock in their own personal shops, where they can set a price and sell them to other players. You can view your own shop in the account tab, or all user shops under "Marketplace" in the browse tab.

Harkening back to the good ol' days of Neopets, players can write a custom shop description and upload a "shopkeeper" image of their choice to greet customers who click on their shop. We encourage you to create adorable art of your succubuns watching over your wares, or even incorporate the job of running your shop into your bun's character! Or perhaps, if you prefer a more humorous route, a lazy "Out to Lunch" sign or a hapless imp will do the job.

Safety Deposit Box

Now that there are more items that can be sold into oblivion with a misclick, it's about time we implemented safety deposit boxes.  These can be accessed via your inventory through the button on the top right.

Players can now choose to store any item from their inventory in their safety deposit box. Once in the box, items cannot be used, traded, sold, donated, or deleted unless first removed from the box. This should help you hang onto ingredients until you have everything you need for a recipe, hoard seasonal drinks until they're more valuable, or clean up the keepsakes and licenses cluttering up your inventory.

Please Be Aware

This is a huge amount of new code, much of which was not originally built to work together, so it's likely that bugs or errors will crop up. Please be patient, and report all issues to Bug Reports, or the bug reports channel in our server.

It's also very important to understand that, though the Succubuns team has done our best to create a balanced system that will benefit the game economy and provide a satisfying gameplay loop, we cannot predict all of the effects these new carat and item sources will have. It's possible that we will need to make adjustments to the new items, recipes, payouts, or systems in order to balance the gameplay after seeing it in action and getting player feedback. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that may occur due to these adjustments.

Upcoming

We will be hosting our summer seasonal MYO sale from July 7th-10th.

Just like our April sale, MYOs will be $30, limited to one per player. For every 10 Hell in a Handbaskets sold, we'll also raffle off one Envious Handbasket for $40. This time, we'll also be raffling off an equal number of Envy MYOs for 400 carats each, so make sure to save up if you want to enter!
